Seeing as my ps2(fat)will only play a select few games now (think playing the dual-layer Rogue Galaxy messed it up)after giving me many years of gaming I want to get the PS3 and make the jump into next-gen. However, I heard that because of the price drop the emulation chip is getting removed and replaced with the software Europe got.
Could someone tell me if this is just for the 80GB version? If not, how long might I have before it hits the 60GB (if it hasn't already)?
