Hi guys,

I don't own a DS, but my friend recently lent me his so that I could play Pokemon Black. Only problem is that for some reason it isn't letting me overwrite his previous save file.

When I start the game, I click 'New Game' and it shows the warning that the old save fil will go, and I click that yes that's fine. But then after playing the game for a while and trying to save it it says it can't save due to there already being a saved game. Then it tells me to press up+select+B in the title screen. Which I did twice and it's still not letting me save a new game over his.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I really want to play Pokemon.

Hi guys, I just got the Turtle Beach PX5 headset for PS3 today, it cost me $300 and I was really excited about it but now I can't set the bloody thing up. I have followed all of the instructions but it still isn't working! I have installed the batteries and plugged in the transmitter and paired the headphones to the transmitter, that all went well. When I go onto the PS3 however and choose Settings>Audio Device Settings it says to switch the Input and Output options to 'Turtle Beach'. This is where I am stuck. I have tried everything but I can't get those options to say Turtle Beach. It's like even though the headset is functioning and all the lights are going the PS3 isn't picking up on it. Please help!

And seriously, if you can't play a game as simple and as intuitive as Super Mario Galaxy 2, maybe you'd better stick to the "floating gun" games like Halo and Call of Duty. Y'know, the games the developers pump out to please the mainstream audience with the short attention span.

Metal_Mario99

Actually, I don't like either the Halo or COD franchises as FPS really aren't my thing. In fact I like the independent games much better, as I said before one of the only games I have played and really enjoyed on the Wii so far is World of Goo. Also, I would appreciate it if you all stopped referring to me as 'he'. As clearly stated in my profile I am a 19-year old female. And yes, I did find SMG2 complicated, who knows, maybes it's because I jumped right into the second one without ever playing the first, either way you all need to lay off that now. As I said it is not the main issue I am having with my Wii. I just wish it would actually read the discs and pick up on all of my Wii remotes. At the moment it only picks up on one.

Why would I lie about this? I can't be the only person in the world who has had trouble with the Wii before. I have always loved playing games and would love it if all consoles I owned worked properly. It seems that every consoles except for the Wii does. All it seems to be good at is causing me frustration and annoyance everytime I try to use it. Why would I want that? Of course I want it to work. To suggest that I am lying about this just doesn't make any sense.

Did you tell Nintendo about it?Twisted14

I actually have called Nintendo Tech Support on several occasions over issues with the Wii and every time I have had some rude person on the other end of the phone who doesn't help at all and only makes the situation worse for me. Very poor customers service every time. Also, the Wii is the only thing I have ever had to call Tech Support for. I can usually make almost every electronic thing work.

Although, you do all bring up a valid point. Why should I complain about something that I got for free? And you're right. Maybe I should just sell the bloody thing and save up for some PC upgrades, some PS3 games or a 360. At least then I would be assured that the consoles I have will work.

Please don't come to the wii forums and start bashing it.

supdotcom

First of all, this is a Wii forum and as a Wii owner I have every right to come here and talk about it, even if I want to talk about the problems I am having with it.

Secondly, you all seem to be stuck on the whole SMG2 issue. In the end that's a minor thing in comparison to my Wii problems. Not reading discs, not being able to pick up on my Wii remotes etc, those are the real issues I am having with it.

And I did enjoy some Wii games, I like Wii Fit and enjoyed some of the downloadable games like World of Goo. And I'm sure I would enjoy many other Wii games if I gave them a go, the only problem is I'm sick of spending a lot of money on games for a console when I'm not even sure if they will work!

It's not the issue of SMG2 being overly complicated here that is the major one. Focus on the things such as the Wii in general just not working. I actually paid for a second Wii remote about half a year ago which was grossly overpriced and to this day it only worked for a few hours. I have tried about 20 different batteries, tried to sync it more times than I can remember but I just can't get it to work. It's problems like this that I never have with any other console.

I honestly wish I never got the thing, and I didn't even pay for it, it was an added extra when we bought our TV!

I have a Playstation 3, and while I don't own a Xbox360 I have used one many times and I have never had any trouble with either console. The Wii on the other hand seems to always have one problem or another ever since I got it and I'm sick of it. The PS3 and 360 just work and are easy to use and simple, but when I try and do even simple things on the Wii nothing ever works properly! Even the games are bloody complicated!

I got Super Mario Galaxey 2 for it which cost $60 and I have hardly played it at all because it is just too hard and complicated. I mean the game came with a whole dvd of instructions of how to play it. If a game is that complicated that it needs it's own DVD then I think that should be a sign that it is perhaps too hard. Yet on the other hand I never have any trouble playing game titles such as Uncharted 2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Assassin's Creed 2 etc etc. Why is it that the other consoles manage to make wonderful exciting games that are both enthralling and easy to use yet everything on the Wii is just a mess of waving around that stupid controller.

And it's not only the games, but I constantly have problems with the Wii not picking up on Wii mote signals, not reading discs and in general just not working at all. I've actually had someone look at the Wii thinking that maybe I just had a crap one, but apparently my Wii is fine and the console really just has that many problems.

Sorry for the rant, but I'm just sick of it. I just put in my Wii Fit disc because I just wanted to do the simple task of weighing myself with it's Body Test function. Yet what happens? It wouldn't even read my Wii Fit disc! Even though there seems to be nothing wrong with the console. Typical of Wii...
