32 Things

(I thought most of these were pretty funny, so I'm sharing!)

1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die.

2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.

4. There is great need for a sarcasm font.

5. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

6. Was learning cursive really necessary?

7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on # 5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood.

8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died.

9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired.

10. Bad decisions make good stories. 1

1. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day.

12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection ... again.

13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my ten-page technical report that I swear I did not make any changes to.

14. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wash this - ever.

15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Damn it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voice mail. What did you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away?

16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste.

17. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call.

18. I think the freezer deserves a light as well.

19. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lite than Kay.

20. I wish Google Maps had an "Avoid Ghetto" routing option.

21. Sometimes, I'll watch a movie that I watched when I was younger and suddenly realize I had no idea what the heck was going on when I first saw it.

22. I would rather try to carry 10 over-loaded plastic bags in each hand then take 2 trips to bring my groceries in.

23. The only time I look forward to a red light is when I'm trying to finish a text.

24. I have a hard time deciphering the fine line between boredom and hunger.

25. How many times is it appropriate to say "What?" before you just nod and smile because you still didn't hear or understand a word they said?

26. I love the sense of camaraderie when an entire line of cars team up to prevent a jerk from cutting in at the front. Stay strong, brothers and sisters!

27. Shirts get dirty. Underwear gets dirty. Pants? Pants never get dirty, and you can wear them forever.

28. Is it just me or do high school kids get dumber & dumber every year?

29. There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

30. As a driver I hate pedestrians, and as a pedestrian I hate drivers, but no matter what the mode of transportation, I always hate bicyclists who do whatever they want on the road.

31. Sometimes I'll look down at my watch 3 consecutive times and still not know what time it is.

32. Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in a pocket, finding their cell phone, and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey - but I'd bet my ass everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed, first time, every time.

Wow I kind of ...

Wow ... I kind have started sucking with the whole blogging thing. I really think I'm blogged out. Sometimes it just seems like such a chore. Especially those times when there's really nothing exciting going on. I mean ... tomorrow I'm going to the dentist, and later onthat afternoonI'm going to get my ankle ex-rayed, again, to see how it's healing. WOOP DEE DOO!!!! Exciting times I tell ya!

What IS exciting about tomorrow? If it's not raining I'm going to go to the pool. YAY!

I'm watching all the shows I mentioned two blog posts ago, but I am neithersuper-excited nor absolutely horrified by any of them. I'm actually just having a really enjoyable TV watching summer thus far. This week starts some excellent shows though.

The Closer, Eureka and Warehouse 13 to name a few.

So You Think You Can Dance is keeping me entertained. It's odd though, I haven't really LOVED LOVED LOVED any of the dancers for the last couple of seasons. I do like the format this season, because it's bringing back some of my favorite all-stars, and that's consolation for not really adoring any of this season's dancers. (ALLISON HOLKER RAWKS!)

Mostly, and I'm a bit embarrassed to put this out there, but for the most part when I'm online, I'm reading TWOP recaps (not because I didn't see the episode, but because they are hilarious X 2) or playing Disney Fairies! That's right kids ... I'm playing the Disney Fairy game. I'm rediculously addicted to it. It's quite sad!

Well ... if I get a wild hair I'll update in here again. Until then brightest blessings to you all!

I'm SOOOO tired!

Tonight is my Monday night at work. I'm kicking myself for not sleeping more today as I can barely hold my eyes open.

This is less like a blog post and more like a tweet.

Blessings!

Now how am I gonna ... ?

by on

Now, how am I going to choose a title? I used to choose them by poetry or food that I posted in here. I suppose I'll have to be (duh duh duh) creative!

Okay ... so this last week:

Sunday:

TRUE FREAKING BLOOD PEOPLE! Really? Need I say more about that. If you're not watching it or you don't like it you won't care what I opine about it, and if you do like it as I do, you'll not care what my opinion is either. So ... moving on!

Army Wives ~ This particular show is a dramatic favorite for me! It always makes me laugh and cry a little. I just adore the characters. Although I'm not sure how I feel about Pamela divorcing her husband. Also ... they're going through a really odd timeline, skipping ahead months at a time. I haven't come to a conclusion on that turn of events yet.

The Next Food Network Star ~ (will be further referred to as TNFNS) It's too early to tell who's going to win. I actually really like one of the underdogs (Brad Sorensen)and I hope he breaks out of his shell soon. However, I think a the two current favorites are Arti and Aria. Those two girls could probably have a pretty kick ass show together though!

This Sunday marks the start of the shows: Scoundrels, The Gates, and The Phantom. Tough choices here, although I know The Phantom will be replayed later on Syfy. But still ... only 2 recordings per time slot am I allowed!!!! We'll see how it goes.

Monday:

The Good Guys ~ This show is so delightfully campy. If you want a little mindless fun and entertainment, this one is for you. Lil Hanks does a superb job each week at being exasperated at his comically and crazily over the top partner. Really amazing work going on with this comedy!

Tuesday:

Pretty Little Liars ~ This is another of my current "I'm so not admitting I'm watching this!" shows. But here I am admitting it. I find the storyline progresses pretty well, the characters still need to be fleshed out a bit, but we're only on the third eppy. I like the mystery that surrounds the girls too. Also ... I don't think any of them acts horrifically. Also ... it's got Holly Marie Combs (Charmed) and Laura Leighton (Melrose Place) How can one go wrong!!!

Hell's Kitchen ~ I can't help it ... I just love watching Gordon Ramsay abuse people who are supposed to be the best. I'm nearly always in tears. I'm a big meany like that. But seriously, I do like seeing the chefs improve and get stronger. (sometimes)

Dr Who ~ BBCA's most beloved crossover. I'm not sure how I feel about the new Doctor. Big shoes to fill following David T. I do love the companion Amy though. Just ADORE Amy Pond!!!

Finally, Jersey Couture ~ I think I may just watch this because I love to hate these girls. They're SOOOO 80's!!!

Wednesday:

So You Think You Can Dance ~ (henceforth known as SYTYCD) Amazing dancers this season. I truly believe the calibre of dance is improving season after season. ALSO with the new format they're bringing back previous season's all stars. Which is AWESOME because I LOVE LOVE LOVE Allison Holker. LOVE HER!!!

In Plain Sight ~ Crime drama ... sort of. I love the chemistry of the two main characters. Plus ... Mary is so acerbic ... so dynamic and painfully truthful ... if you haven't caught it. I suggest you give it a try!

Thursday:

Rookie Blue ~ I was going to try it, but it's on opposite SYTYCD and Burn Notice. Too bad ... so sad!

SYTYCD ~ Elimination show ... 'nuff said!

Boston Med ~ 8 part mini-series ... I'll check it.

Burn Notice ~ Yummy delcious exciting numminess!

Royal Pains ~ Yummy delicious exciting numminess! Just pure bliss!

Friday:

Flashpoint ~ I don't remember liking this too well the first time, but I'll give it another shot.

Saturday:

Merlin ~ Ahhhh such a delectable wonder and so much fun!!!

Legend of the Seeker ~ An amazing show that didn't get a large enough audience, unfortunately we only got the two seasons. Frown

That's all for now.

Blessins! ~S~

Didya miss me?

Hullo folksies!

It has been quite a while since I've popped in here. I'm so tired of my normal blog though, just dead dull tired of trying to fill it with crap that no one cares about. So I'm going to try this out for a while and see how we do.

I recently broke my ankle, and the first week I was laid up at home. Do you think I took the time to outline my summer TV watching? OH NO!!! That would have been way way too easy!

However, I do have a fair few shows that I'm going to shake a leg at this summer.

Obviously some of my returning favorites are going to be:

So You Think You Can Dance, Hell's Kitchen, Army Wives, Leverege, Warehouse 13, The Closer, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, True Blood, The Next Food Network Star, Eureka, Psych, Mad Men, WhiteCollarand Primeval.

I'm also going to be checking out some of the new offerings:

Persons Unknown, The Good Guys, Pretty Little Liars, Neighbors from Hell, The Gates, Scoundrels, The Phantom, Memphis Beat, Haven, Rizzoli and Isles, The Glades, and Covert Affairs.

I know I know ... you're thinking that's a lot of TV watching! Well you're probably right. Keep in mind though, that they're staggered through the summer, AND if there are new shows that interfere with already set shows, they're out. I'm really looking forward to the USA and TNT shows though. Excellent NOSH Petunia!!!

This week ... I'm really looking forward to the first 'competition' SYTYCD episode. I'll be trying to at least do some reviews on some of these shows throughout the summer.

More later, yo!

Blessings! ~S~

3.5 Years

Wow, I just realized I've been a member here for three and a half years. Too bad the whole thing's gone to hell in a handbasket. ;)

Oh and I love the way the 'News' in my 'Feed' box is still from 2007. Really? Has there not been news since then?

What a complete farce TV.com has become.

In addition, someone told me the other day that TV.com doesn't have as up to date info as IMDB on television shows. How can that possibly be? Isn't this supposed to be the most comprehensive database on TV info? I guess it's not. Well ... I'm off to Television Without Pity which at least has several irreverent and hilarious recaps on shows. A bientot!

Hey there folks

Just thought I'd let you all know that I'm still around, still alive, still kickin'! Just not doin all that stuff here! I haven't even posted on a thread in ages. I'm still my normal TV junkie self though.

Just a reminder to you all, I post a blog daily over at Google's blogspot ... since TV.com is STILL NOT ADDRESSING OUR FECKING BLOG ISSUES!!!!! (How long has it been? well it's been at LEAST 2 months, I'm thinking more since the 'rollout from HELL')

I watched Hell's Kitchen on Hulu last night. I am a SUCKER for that show. I think it's brilliant, and ya'll know how much I ABHOR reality TV for the most part.

Anyway ... here's the link to my blog if you all want or need something to peruse through.
