Man, I will have to give the demo another try - but so far, I'm SEVERELY disappointed. I think the controls are much worse than Heavy Rain, and I don't like what I understand the story so far..... But of course I don't really know the full story. The whole supernatural no realisitic ghost story thing is turning me off. I loved Heavy Rain for it's realism and gritty story. I LOVED that game. This game feels like such a step back with the controls - it REALLY feels like they forced a movie into a video game, and it seem spointless. I really wanted to like this game :(*
Aside from the added right stick controls with the white dots on the screen, how does this control any differently than Heavy Rain? The controls are essentially the exact same.
As a whole the new site is so cluttered it's nearly impossible to find anything. This forced Win8 design is ridiculous. Hopefully they clean it up soon.
The dubstep gun is hands down the best weapon in this game. It's so effing ridiculous and absurd that I can't use it without laughing and having a smile on my face.
...and I SERIOUSLY can't iron sights a gun? This is a beginning game glitch/joke, correct? If not, this is probably one of the single most inane "gun game" decisions I've ever seen.
Holding down "X" makes you pick up AND swap out the weapon you're holding for the one you just picked up. Just hitting "X" once picks it up and doesn't force swap the weapon. I haven't had this issue yet in 2 because I still carry the habit from one of mashing the "X" button to pick everything up. One of the biggest things I've had to get used to with this game is that I DON'T have to manually pick everything up. I still find myself mashing "X" as I run around, lol.
Apparently there is a glitch people are suffering from that is removing all Badass points, achievements and the like. I don't know if this stems from that or not...maybe.
This has not happened to me (I play as Axton), but I know I saw a thread about this on the 360 board, so I doubt you're the first person to experience it.
