Remember that from these ads: http://uk.ps3.gamespy.com/articles/986/986290p1.html (the one on the juice features ocelot) We can probably say reasonably safely that ocelot is involved. Unfortunately, the completely nuts plot got away from me somewhere during the first three games. Would there be a time period featuring big boss, grey fox and ocelot? (additional bonus content: does anybody know how many bleedin' posts i have to make before i hit the hallowed "level 3"??)
(Farcical logic coming up); The only reason I can think for the preponderance of orange stuff (the box says oranges, the can is orange juice) links to the rumours which were going around when people were saying mgs4 was going to 360. The rumoured title for the extra content was "Oxide". Iron oxide (rust) is of course orange. So my ridiculous train of thought goes; 360 rumours were false, but had been started by someone who knew the correct title and mistakenly thought it was 360 port, rather than a new (PSP!) game. They're advertising it with orange stuff because of the title................. No, that's probably the stupidest logic string i've ever managed.
Don't know if you chaps have seen these; http://uk.ps3.gamespy.com/articles/986/986290p1.html So there's pretty definitely a new metal gear in the making. Note that in your first post you said he said "It is not multiplatform". He didn't say what the single platform was, so I wouldn't just assume ps3. I would think that it will be a new twist on the IP, and seeing as we know that a cover of PS famitsu mentions it, it is most probably for the PSP. I'm not sure why the box says oranges on the side. I don't see what it could have to do with the orange box. I don't think a PSP remake of MGS1 (&/or 2 &/or 3) is out of the question. If he is working on 2 projects though, I'm guessing the other one is snatcher.
