If this is true, why did he create sin and punishment on Earth? Why did he create Hell? Why not create a world with men that are motivated to be all caring and loving beings, just like him, with no desire to be selfish, greedy and mean?

God did not create sin man did

[QUOTE="savebattery"]I was a Christian when I was very young. Then during my early teens, I was an adamant atheist. I suppose I thought that not believing in god made me somehow more well-adjusted and mature than other people. A lot of atheists think that belief in a higher power is somehow juvenile, and that "accepting" the idea that there is no god makes them in some way superior to people who do believe in god. Now, I find myself taking the middle ground. I term myself an agnostic because I don't know whether god exists or not. I see no evidence that he does, and it cannot be proven that he doesn't. But there are many questions about the universe that are either unanswered or incompletely answered. I don't adhere to the "god of gaps" theory. But I also don't understand abiogenesis, the idea that the Big Bang and the laws of conservation of mass and energy don't seem to be compatible, and a few other things. If energy cannot be created or destroyed, where did the energy for an explosion as powerful as the Big Bang come from? If mass cannot be created or destroyed, how did mass come to be in the first place? Was it god? I don't know. I don't particularly care. I try to live my life in a way that doesn't harm anyone else, and I try my best to make people happy. If there is no afterlife, I'll still be satisfied with the way I lived. And if there is, and what I did isn't good enough for "heaven", then it doesn't sound like "heaven" is a place I don't want to be in the first place.

1st: The definition of christian is not going to church and trying being a good person, don't get me wrong there good things and basically go hand and hand if you are a christian, the big part of being a christian is having a personal relationship with christ, and if you did have that then you would never let that go. It tells you exactly what happened
