@hinzkunz: First off, it's the Warcraft franchise, WoW is a title in it. Second, games are just like any other medium from which they can draw stories from and it isn't any harder than from a book or TV series. The term "video game movie" is becoming ridiculous. "Book" movies are also hated because of what they cut out. This isn't any different. They got a rather new director, so there were bound to be problems. Get over it.

They completely broke the game. I stopped playing because it simply isn't fun anymore. My companion is able to solo the entire game content heriocs, flashpoints and all that. They removed a TON of gear that killed customization which was one of the original draws JUST because they were too lazy to adjust them. Mission rewards are now like 6-8 levels beneath you, so every mission is broken up to 60.

They made most flashpoints tactical and so killing group content. Mobs are the same, but without group mechanics it's tedious and just a scrap to the finish line.

NO orange gear on planets, heroics and flashpoint as said previously. Killing 60 levels of content for 5 new levels isn't worth it. I haven't even played beyond level 50 as I'm playing other characters as well.

So one word to describe all this is broken. Whats sad is that most people don't seem to care as they just want to rush to level 60 as soon as possible. This is an RPG...leveling is THE experience.

This doesn't need to get complicated. The simple fact is that this is supposed to be a "professional" review. So personal feelings towards any points in the game should only be in it for people who care what the reviewer thinks, but the final score should only be given for the gaming aspect.

I mean whatever happened to rating game for gameplay, graphics, sound etc...

I mean it's fine to post this, but don't call it a professional review when it's graded on the reviewers personal thoughts. Aren't professional reviewers supposed to look at a game objectively?

That's all there is to it I think.

I admit somewhere along my first thoughts, there was "this isn't TR". I got over it really quickly.

- People complain about cinematic scenes and times events. ("I dont want to watch a movie!!") well guess what...games evolved beyond solitaire. The thing looks cool and it gets you hyped.

- There is no platforming!!! ....umm, what? I spent half the game climbing and jumping and solving the eventual puzzle.

- Its a brainless ation shooter!!!!.....when my main character is known for carrying dual pistols, shooting things is the last thing on my mind. Right.....

- Don't get me started on boobs..they didn't even use her original short pants.

What else? Is it linear? yes, OMG there is only ONE entrance to the sacrificial chamber, please someone make it more interesting. OKAY, how about some open world style shoot outs and multiple approach possibilities. Good enough? moving on.

What I like about TR is the lore and feel of it while explore. What do you know? it's all there.

In the end though, this is not only a relaunch, it is also an origin story. Think about that.

Just finished it. I was very satisfied. I think this is the best origin story we can get, now on to actual tomb raiding :)

Graphics great, gameplay awesome, controls easy, story.......i want a TR remake with this. It was a rollercoaster ride!

Okay, so I haven't bought the game because of the online fiasco. Now I am wondering if it's even worth playing through. I mean all people are talking about are items and inferno.

I loved playing D1+2 by myself and completed it first before heading online. By completing I mean killing Diablo and not level 99 (harder difficulties are only there to make replay interesting)

So my question is: Does D3 give a satisfying story single player experience?
