YOu never ever judge a game until its finished.  I've heard way too much BS about Forza 2 and Mass effect.  These games are not even optimized yet, which the DEVELOPERS of the games have said time and time again, yet it's used for damage control.  We should of judged God of War 2 6 months before it's release.  It's ridiculous and just plain idiotic.

1.  You can almost fit the entire NES library on one CD.  The biggest games being only a few KB (kilobytes)

2.  You can almost fit the entire SNES library on One DVD.  The biggest games being only a few MB.  (Zelda and FF 3 are only 3-6 MB in size)

3.  YOu could fit the Entire N64 library on one Blu-Ray disk.  The biggest games like Zelda: OoT being 32MB.  The biggest game was the Resident Evil 2 remake at 64MB but that was the only game to be that size.

1,000,024 KiloBytes equal 1 MegaByte.  or 1 million KB= 1 MB

A standard CD can hold between 640 to 700MB

1,000,000,024 MegaBytes equal 1 GigaByte.  or 1 billion MB= 1 GB

A standard DVD can hold 4.7 GB.  You can also have a dual layer DVD that holds 9 GB.  You can also have a Dual Sided and Dual Layer DVD that holds 18 GB.

1 Blu-Ray disk can hold 50 GBs.

5 games worth owning on wii not counting the VC? Yeah right. Thats fanboy opinion. I've owned my wii for 2 months and still only have some VC games and wii sports/Zelda. If you like Kookie off the wall games then yeah but thats only for certain people's taste.

Alot of you forget that the Gamecube was massively successful when it launched. Infact, its first year was fantastic. Then when Nintendo dropped the ball and made its image laughable, huge droughts, and kept missing out on the must -have exclusives, that is what killed the gamecube.

For every must have example: RE 4 on the gamecube there was 3-5 on the xbox/ps2.

It's ridiculous that some of your line of thinking tha price dosen't matter.  When you kids grow up, live on your own, and dont have your parents pay your bills you might begin to understand.

Oh and the price difference is alot more then $50 between the wii and 360

Wii= Ready to play out of the box with game.

360-Even if you buy the core, $49.99 for a memory card, plus you have to buy a game.

Some of you have rocks for brains and need to think about other people beside yourself.

If you think the wii is doing great just because of it's library, that is a joke.  It's library is piss poor right now, with only a few titles worth owning to the majority of the industry.

YOu are blind.  The Wii is around the pricepoint that the ps2/xbox was when sales soard.  Never have we had a $400+ console succeed.  Ownage Denied infact Self Ownage for being a blind fanboy.

It's pricetag!  Wii is very affordable that alot of people/parents/even non-gamers are willing to buy.  I know alot of people who want a 360 but can't afford it.  The fact is there are alot more poor people in this world then middle-class or wealthy.  Infact there is about 10 fold more poor people.  Do you think Joe Shmoe can afford a 360 flippin burgers at Mcdonald's with his other bills?  Hell no.  If he saves up he could afford a Wii alot more soon.  When the 360/ps3 come down in price we will see a drastic change.  The problem is that I don't believe MS or SOny are coming down on thier prices any time in the near future.

[QUOTE="Ontain"][QUOTE="Xolver"]... The Wii has 40MB RAM?

* 88 MB main memory (24 MB "internal" 1T-SRAM integrated into graphics package, 64 MB "external" GDDR3 SDRAM)[41] * 3 MB GPU texture memory

If that is true then I have been owned.  I just dont' understand why we are constantly seeing ports that look worse then ps2 games.  Hell, alot of psp games look better then alot of Wii games.   Just pathetic.

Oh and I don't care if graphics don't matter to you.   They matter to me.

I've enjoyed games over 20 years old on the VC on Wii so age has little to do with anything.  In case you missed it, you can't get this version anywhere else.  It's enhanced in HD and you maybe able to fill the screen out like in other xbox live arcade games.  Even if you can't, it's not gonna take away from a wonderful expierence thats gonna cost around $10.

I don't think so.  Doesn't the system also have less ram?  I remember the original xbox has 64MB of ram.  Doesn't the wii boast like 40MB or something along those lines?  Will we ever see great looking games like Ninja Gaiden, Splinter Cell, or Conkers from the original xbox.  Nintendo didn't go this cheap did they?
