Hi, this may be too late going by the date of your post, but I had the same problem with the same TV. Here is the fix.

1. Change the tv settings in the Wii settings menu to 480i (don't worry this is just temporary)

2. Start a VC game. and hit the home button after 30 seconds or so.

3. Select operations manual and the connect a nunchuck to the wiimote.

4. Now hold down A and 2 at the same time on the wiimote and z on the nunchuck. You should here a chime.

5. Exit the operations manual and all should be fine. Now switch your tv settings back to 480p.

Hope I've been a help!

This worked. Unbelievable that after 4 years we still had to do this to get it to work.

Thanks. I'm likely to get an iPhone when I can afford one.

Does the DS Lite support WPA2?
#5 Posted by SonicBooom (443 posts) -

I have the standard old-style DS, and I'm not able to connect to my secure WPA2 wireless network as it doesn't support the level of security required. Are the DS Lites updated with newer firmware that allows to use WPA2 networks?

Is there a way to upgrade my old DS with new firmware?

Thanks

Compared to some of the smart phones and the iPhone and iPod Touch, are the internet functions available when you buy the Opera browser for the DS any good?

Does it have java and flash plugins etc? Can you use web-based MSN etc?

Thanks

Has anybody else got any opinions on the DS' web browser and it's use with web-based MSN sites? I'm considering getting it, and would hope to use MSN on it.

I've had a Nintendo Europe account for years, and when I was given the chance (just before the new Nintendo Europe site went live) I linked my Wii and the account together. If I move, I'll just have to call Nintendo and see. Thanks :)
