If you ask me, the best engine has to be Source because it still looks nice, the lighting and textures are still well done, it is now out there for free and is easy to program for. By far the best engine since the Q3A engine.
Is Crysis capable of running maxed with this system?
Vista Ultimate 64
Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs)
4GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS 512MB
I read somewhere that an 8800 is required, but would the other parts of my computer compensate? I would only want to play it if I can experience the "full hype"! :) Or should I not even bother with it?

With this system, this ia an answer of "very no". NASA custom made a computer to run it at max everything and it crashed in 10 minutes.
To be honest, I would love to see Killzone 2 over Resistance 2, mainly because I've actually played Killzone and not Resistance yet. Also, Killzone still looks VERY promising.
That is kind of strange. Looks like 1UP went backwards in time lol. I personally would love seeing one though, I would probably crap myself if they did.
