[QUOTE="CRS98"]In what context? Be more specific.MushroomWig
Well, are you one of these people who gets offended if someone makes a troll thread? Or do you just shrug it off because you don't take the internet that seriously?

Nah, I don't get offended. I don't take it that seriously, just something to do in some spare time.

[QUOTE="UT_Wrestler"] As soon as I scanned and posted that graph from consumer report, he pretty much shut up. I really do wish GM and Chrysler made more reliable vehicles if for no reason other than creating more competition, but the facts speak for themselves.spazzx625
Yeah, you weren't kidding when you said "/thread"...

I thought that also when he said /thread. Between the consumer report he posted and the one I posted there was no reason for the TC to post anymore

I don't think a ouija board by hasbro games can do very much. But a medium that has special capabilities to communicate I believe those exist, but not as many as claim they can.

I know someone who used to work in a GM factory in Ohio. He says he'll never purchase a GM car.Engrish_Major

I toured one in Shanghai when I was studying abroad for an engineering program. And I can't repeat what went on in there.:shock:

But the only GM car I would drive I think is the Corvette.

[QUOTE="duxup"]

The only thing that bothers me is the folks who will put that thing on thinking they're being funny.

duxup

What about the ones that put it on being serious?

You know I wouldn't mind that as much for some reason. It is just the abuse of humor that gets to me.

You, sir are stronger than I. I would have to leave the beach, especially if I had kids with me.

[QUOTE="mohfrontline"] it's a fact? what about my uncles 300k mile minivan? How about my neighbor's 250k 1989 silverado? No problems. Where are these mechanical problems you people keep talking about?mohfrontline

Those can be called outliers and exlcuded from data when using statistics. The fact is they are less reliable, and the fact that those have lasted without any significant problems is just part by chance.

...then can I see some "official" data on reliability? Giving me a lecture on statistics isn't proving anything. I gave you an example, no please give me an example of how, in general american cars are built poorly (as you seem to think)

I didn't give you a lecture on anything, you asked about your uncles van and your neighbor's truck. Look at consumer reports. And you don't have to get a 'tude, if you want to have a discussion fine. But you should calm down
