@saintsatan: I watch Blurays and dvd's on mine. I collect games, so i like to keep most physical copies. Also have a decent steam library, but I prefer to have the option. No disc drive is just a pain in the arse for me. Alienware have gone backwards this gen.
Looked at those. No optical disk drive. Slow compared to what else you can buy in the price range. Arsehole alienware giving people the low wattage powerbrick stock. Decided not to give them my money. Brought a 17" ASUS ROG G751 i7 4860HQ 32gb Ram and GTX 980. Upgradable graphics card later down the line.... Screw alienware!
I apologise, I only just noticed the reply notification, but I'm from NZ and I think it was a conflicting add-on, but have purchased a new laptop and the problem is not there..
How come i have to watch a 30sec ad everytime i watch a gamespot video, even tho i'm signed in? Is this new? I always thought i had the option to skip, as it gets tiring after watching 10 or so videos in a row...
Perhaps I am the only one, but I will get both consoles regardless of these things people are hating on. I'm in it for the games. Any time I play games I'm connected to the internet anyways.

You're missing the point. By buying the xbox one you are condoning the actions microsoft is taking. They aren't listening to their customer base and imposing ridiculous restrictions on the digital content that YOU are supposed to purchase. People who 'don't care' are the ones ruining it for everyone else and future generations.
The only way to make a corporation listen is with your wallet. Stop buying their product and they will have to listen before they go bankrupt. WE give them the power and WE can take it away. I have been with microsoft since the start, although i own or have owned most of the major consoles, i will reward sony with my purchase because they actually listened to gamers.
Microsoft can eat a big steaming bowl of dick. Anyone who buys their console can join them.
