I think it's funny how people keep bringing p Twilight Princess's 8.8...an 8.8 is not a bad score, people. Actually, it's a "great" score. And Twilight Princess is a "great" game. Get over it.

I think it's important to remember through all this that it isn't Gamespot's fault. All the people who have "lost all faith in Gamespot"...you haven't. You've simply lost all faith in Josh Larson.

1Up Shows Support For GameSpot Reviewers (Kotaku article)

"A bunch of Ziff Davis staffers (including 1Up) made a banner to show their support for fellow game reviewers and marched it the two blocks to the GameSpot building on Friday. The banner, and impromptu march, shows that despite being competition, what may have happened at GameSpot could have wide-spread implications in the game publication industry."

Good for them! :)

I'm impressed. 1Up is a class act. Does anyone think that Jeff's "unprofessionalism" (one of the reported reasons he no longer works at GameSpot) is referring to the one time he unintentionally left a "s--t" on the HotSpot? It was the one where they were talking about the koRn song in Haze.

With the review of "You Are Empty" that just came out, I wonder if games that get horrible reviews gt a small boost in sales from those people who buy the game out of curiosity to see how bad it is. I'm talking about games in the 1.0-2.0 range, it seems that people generally stay away from those 2.5-4.5 games. Do you think that having an absolutley awful game can boost public interest in it?

[QUOTE="Sirian808"]I need your help. I am making a video ed after charlieissocoollike's "How to be English" video on YouTube. It's filled with stereotypes that most of us Americans firmly believe to be true. I thought it would be funny to make a "How to be American" video. Here's what I'd love to get: What are some stereotypes about Americans that people from the UK believe? Pull no punches; I'm just trying to get material for a video that would appeal to English people.Devils_Joker_22

Whiney voices,
Religious and Intolerant of other world opinions
Republican
Racist
The entire Middle East is Evil
The other countrys are here as noveltys to entertain us
Our TV is good, not trash
Gun crazy
Homophobic
Consumerist

...And im done. You probably have alot there to go on, thats pretty much the steriotypes.

Thanks, it's a pretty good (if slightly harsh) list. I got a couple good skits out of it. By the way, I am American, and I do like our country...I just think that we're not as high and mighty as we think we are.

It seems that the Wiki link isn't there anymore.....ShadowLaguna

I can't seem to get it to come back either.

When it did show up, this is what had happened:

  1. I went to the Halo 3 main page
  2. Clicked on the forums tab
  3. Clicked on summary tab

And the wiki tab was there. I clicked on it and it took me to a link where I got a 404 error.

Just over on the Halo 3 page. I noticed that when clicked on "summary," there was an extra tab that said "Wiki".

Here's a screenshot:

Any official word on this? When I click on the link, it gives me a 404 error.
