I think I've given the new layout a fair shake by now. There's always growing pains when websites get remodeled and sometimes it's hard to see that the new version is actually an improvement over the old one. So here's my informed opinion on the new site:

It's horrendous.

I can't find anything I'm looking for. There's games I've never heard of that were released years ago showing up on the front page under recent releases. The layout is sloppy, not user friendly, and makes horrible use of the space on the page. Couple that with the fact that there's only one reviewer left on this site who's opinions I can read without facepalming or yawning, and you have a recipe for disinterest.

If you download Sony's 'Media Go' program it lets you easily manage all your PSP stuff and transfer it to and from your PC. You can back up PSP game saves, installs, pics, videos, everything.

The difficulty stays the same regardless of whether you have only one or up to four people playing.

The lack of Monster Hunter in this thread saddens me.

It's a standalone game, so you won't need any experience with previous games. (there's just a few nods to the past games here and there)

Ideally, I'd recommend getting Persona 3:FES on PS2 instead, since it has a much better presentation and an additional story mode. The PSP version is great for a handheld RPG though and has one or two extras that weren't on the PS2 versions.

I disagree.

Navigating the menus is like a chore in FES.

I was referring more to the fact that the cutscenes were canned, and the running around school and town was completely removed in favour of the simple point and select system in the PSP version. It takes a large chunk of life out of the game, IMO.

Don't even think about it. This game should be in your PSP right now.

Any PSP owner that knows what they're talking about will tell you to stay away from the PSPgo. The system is a complete rip off and doesn't support the PSP's entire gaming library like the other versions do.

If gaming is a high priority, I would recommend getting a PSP-3000. If you're only interested in music and internet, then I'd stick with the Ipod touch.
