I preordered from Walmart and had them ship it to me. They gave me a code for the circuit armor via email, but I received another one along with the package.

Wondering if anyone has done the same thing as me and also received two codes. When I redeemed the codes they both show as circuit armor, but I'm unsure if they are the exact same thing. There's no way I'm going to use both codes if I only need one, lol.

Another thing that I might add is that:

My brother was playing Prince of Persia when the game went all red - the gameplay itself, but when he pressed start for the menu, the menu was the okay. it was already broken before and we went and got it "fixed".

So he took out the game and went to the dashboard, which was fine. He even watched a video for a while, no problems.

Then he turned it off, and when he turned it on the error appeared... So, any suggestions? I am confused why it would work then not work.

I just obtained the E-74 error on my Xbox, so it's either the AV cable or AV hardware failure, right?

The funny thing is, when I turn my 360 on w/out the cable, it works just fine, but I can't see anything, of course.

But when I plug it in while the xbox 360 is still on or just turn it on with the cable, it immediately goes to the Error Screen.

So I'm thinking that it's just the cable. Could that be the case?

My 360 gets the Overheat RROD like crazy now whenever I play games, but when I use a nice fan it calms it down and it actually works. The problem is, is that the fan itself uses a lot of electricity. So I'm planning on getting a new 360, or getting the new Intercooler TS. I've heard that it's actually worth it.

Should I get a new 360 and buy an intercooler ts? Or should I just buy a TS and see if it'll work with my console? because cold air/less hot air seems to make the RROD shut up. I'm trying to save money.

I heard that the launch 360's did not have any fans, and that they started implementing them around June 2006 which was like... a month after I bought mine. Now its 2009 and my Xbox is suffering from excessive overheating, and its pretty much broken.

So I'm planning to sell it, someone could mod it, and I'll go get a new one, but since I'll be keeping my HDD I'll just get the Arcade version.

So... is the Arcade version up-to-date? I can wait for the valhalla chip...

I've had my 360 since May 2007, a bad time, lol. My 360 has been getting the 2 red rings (overheating) for a long while and now it's just nuts. I've been using a fan since Dec 07 and now I'm using this heavy duty one that's usually used only for summer. So yeah, I'm planning to send it to Mircrosoft for repair. According to the bill, it says $94 for repairing + shipping.

But there's also a Play N' Trade here that says that they'll be able to repair it for $50. The problem is, is that if they will actually be able to fix it.

Is PNT good/successful at repairing 360's? I'll send it there if they are. It is cheaper after all.

And if you have any other ideas in mind, please help me out.
