In some respects, sequels are good when the first game happened to be mediocre, they make the sequel much better like Zone of the Enders 2 or Dark Cloud 2. If the developers didn't work on the sequels, MGS3 might not have been made. It's just that games with not much potential and same mechanics get so many chances that they can release the same goddamn thing every year.
I cannot complain if they were like Creative Assembly or Atlus, they do make many sequels but at least, they put a lot of effort in their next flagship franchises.
The only one that deserves criticism is really Activision and their COD franchises. At least Assassin's Creed has some substance and different time period at work.
Good on him for apologising but I think it had much more meaning if it was to Dean Hall and his team for basically plagiarisng the idea and capitalising on that before they could prepare for the release of the Dayz.

I'll be more surprised if they get rid of multiplayer. Wait they can't since campaign is nothing special and multiplayer is probably the one that Activision gets pennies from.
Now I'm not exactly experienced in Hitman series, but I feel this game deserves the better score than Cod Black Ops at least trying to come up with new intelligent missions and new way to play, HItman series has always been one of the replayable games but COD??? pfft, 5 hours later, the campaign's over and all it offers is multiplayer where everyone else has trigger finger itch and all you do is dying over and over again.
Well this isn't going well. Mass Effect Franchise going the same route as COD after two key executives left who were mainly responsible for quality games. Hopefully Casey Hudson isn't trying to compete with Bobby Kotick.
In a way the whole world becoming gamers is not a good thing at all. Just more suckers to pull in for Activision and EA. What we need are gamers with little awareness.
If there's any any people I absolutely despise, it's the people who keeps putting on the tough act to criticise someone who killed themselves. Whatever the **** happened to free will? It's their own life to do whatever they like. It's like he doesn't owe them anything.
Although I've seen only True Romance, I thought he was a great director. I know he made more famous movies. At least his name will be in the history. R.i.p
