I love both, but the edge, for me, goes to the second one. I really enjoyed the large amount of things to do and the world itself.

Pretty much all of the JRPGs were amazing, as well as Metal Gear and the Mega Man games. There were just tons that were amazing.
Both are among the best the gamecube has to offer and why the cube is one of my all time favorite consoles.YoshiYogurtNot my all-time favorite games, but they're definitely some of the better games out there, in terms of fun, controls, graphics (for their time), and being unique. Definitely worth picking up and playing through.
The rarest I have is probably a copy of Ogre Battle for SNES complete with everything in mint condition, Revelation: The Demon Slayer for Gameboy Color complete in box, and Earthbound in the big box with guide. I also own a copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga complete in near mint condition.
I agree, I also do my best to play games on their original console.I prefer playing games on the original system if possible, unless the rerelease has any decent improvements.
of course the reason why alot of people would prefer playing those games via a compilation or DLC is because not a huge amount of people keep their old consoles (were talking the mainstream beyond the retro enthusiasts), and when they do, they are usually in a box in the basement where the owners probably forgot it was there (if they find it, they sell it on Ebay to one of us)
also , the majority of people probably won't mind if their games look a worse due to upscaling .

Great choices. Final Fantasy VI is my favorite, but there are other great ones like Persona 3 and 4, Final Fantasy Tactics, Pokemon series, and the Ogre Battle/Tactics series.Earthbound, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI(Final Fantasy III)
