Well, Catherine is made by Atlus and connected in some way to the Shin Megami Tensei series (Vincent makes a cameo in Persona 3 Portable), so the least we can expect from it is a vastly interesting story with great replay value. Like Shin Megami Tensei. Seriously, how often do you find an RPG that you can play through and get a massively different experience in story the second time?
@Chang, yeah, we played a little Borderlands together. I should really go back and do some more but the person I was playing co-op with hasn't been too interested lately.
I agree with Omega about Catherine. I tried the demo and the gameplay is very different from what the cover would lead you to believe. It's an interesting puzzle game with a mature plot about love and life. I cannot wait until it's released over here. I'm going to see Captain America tomorrow with some friends as part of my birthday, so that should be fun. They've been taunting me because a few of them apparently clubbed together to get me a rare PS2 game and I want to know what it is. And I finally achieved one of my longest gaming ambitions yesterday by completing MGS4. My word, the wait was worth it.
@Chang, I'll be sure to add you the next time I turn my PS3 on, which should be in about 20 minutes because I just bought Borderlands and I want to play it.
Anyway, I wanted to get some unbiased opinions on Lords of Shadow before I bought it because I want to know whether it is worth how much I've seen it for. What did you guys think of it?
