Sounds like you need a prescription to deal with that.

Or you can keep doing it over and over until you get used to it. I used to vomit all the time when I was reading books in the car/on the subway train when I was little, but eventually got used to it, permanently.

BF3 is the better game while PS2 is the more ambitious game. BF3 with Premium is just an awesome value that has drug me back in with Aftermath. It just blows away all the competition as far as polish, gunplay, and infantry tactics and variety are concerned.

PS2 totally dwarfs BF3 in terms of environmental scale and vehicluar combat. But the game is not optimized well at all. The game is waaay too CPU bound so I cant get even a solid 30FPS on an i7 920 2.67GHz, 660ti rig. And the meta-game starts to feel a bit pointless unless you are really commited to an outfit. The slow grind for certs starts to make station cash look appealing but you can't transfer your character or equipment to other servers...

I played the hell out of PS2 initially but after the release of Aftermath for BF3 I was able to appreciate the polish and FOCUS of Battlefield a lot more then PS2's scale.

I agree, the action in BF3 is so much more visceral whereas Planetside 2's is more clean cut and you don't feel immersed down and dirty in the action as much. Although it might have to do with the fact that Planetside 2 is more futuristic/alternate universey and therefore less relatable than BF3's more familiar military setting.

Keep experimenting with lowering settings, I've gotten it up to 50 FPS with a 4850. I record at 30 but that's actually very playable.

What's the most active gaming on the internet right now? I just read an old 2011 thread about the Gametrailers and IGN boards dying out, and also GameFAQs and /v/ were mentioned.

How about now?

I really like the Sims 3, it has a lot more customization available imo. Sims 2 was the turning point of character customization where people got really into modding, but Sims 3 improved on that aspect exponentially. I think you'll find a lot of great mods for the Sims 3 these days, especially since it's the latest version of the game.

Erm "casualization" doesn't bother me at all, the real issue is how the innovation in FPS games has been somewhat tossed to the wayside in favor of making money off people who don't blink an eye at the fact that FPSes are being released every 8 months like yearly sports games.
