Actually your lieing again, THE packaging of the Wireless adaptor says nothing about WHAT security it supports so it doesn't say on the box that the 360 wireless adaptor supports WPA 2 it doesn't say till Page 10 of the manual that it supports this which was a misinformation, As for that you listened a gamestop employee thats your own fault for not doing any sort of information gathering your self.

I found quite a bit of information easily at xbox.com obviously you didn't use the site.

I'm lying? The other guy said to type in 360 WPA into google so I did. Go to the first site listed http://www.xbox-scene.com/xbox1data/sep/EEFVFuklEyHeXzQcRu.php and read the first paragraph.
In other interesting news, I called Microsoft to ask them for the database they gave me last time since i didn't save it so i could post it here (the one with only 2 references to WPA2) the guy didn't know but i typed out his quoted conversation when talking about the situation. this is how it went:
quote:
"It might work and if it disconnects you it might be difficult to reconnect and then in the near future because it is not xbox product it might effect the performance of the 360 online." when asked about the WPA2 bridge
"will the 360 break" my question
"will effect the performance what i am saying psycially or wirelessly it might effect the performance of the 360 thats why we dont have wireless ethernet adapter we have wireless usb adapter"
"lets say i buy bridge i use it can my 360 overheat overheat break or disconnected"
"it could get you on track or online but it works for like a year but once it discs its really hard to connect even if we help them reconfig it its hard once its disconnected. "
"obviously its not made for the 360 and if you try to mix a different brand it might effect something" (i asked him and he agreed this is what he was saying)
Mel ( the name of the customer service representative i talked to
"and we wont be held respnsible for damage to 360
what i could advise you is
you can try the bridge if you want to but its at your own risk and there are problems with it disconnecting"
"that kind of leaves me in a bind..." - my response
"WPA2 does effect the performance of the xbox" - his response
1086107854 - ID# of the call
can i access this info online what we talked about?
"no unfortunately not but here is the link that you were talking about earlier xbox.com/360support
I really do apologize for the preivious on behalf of not letting you know that WPA security 2 is not compatible
I dont see any update yet for the adapter but I want you to know that the reason Microsoft has not released a WPA2 compatible adapter is because that security setting changes the gameplay on the 360 significantly
On all the inconvenience you experience i apologize on behalf of microsoft."

So the bridge is not USB according to this guy and can disconnect a lot and wont be able to reconnect with it and it can mess up your 360 and microsoft wont take responsibility for the dmgs it does. Also the link he gave me for the database they must have updated but the database they had only had 2 references to WPA2. He seemed nice enough on the phone and said he would pass on the info but that there were reasons that microsoft did not support the WPA2 setting because it changed the gameplay or something (not sure what that meant). If I buy a WPA2 bridge it might mess up my 360 since thats what he said it could do and also there are a lot of major disconnection problems with it.
me lying?? no. call microsoft and ask for that reference number listed if you dont beleive me.
p.s. on another note plz fix your html system. it wont let me quote without saying ERRORS your html not well formed
