If you're the kind of person who absolutely must play the next Zelda game then I guess the switch is for you. However as a person who likes to play the latest AAA games I understand that this just won't be an option (yet again) on Nintendo's new platform.

So, even if you're the biggest Nintendo fan you may also be someone who likes to play the above mentioned modern AAA games of the day. If that's the case, you can't just buy the Switch, you're still going to have to buy one of the other platforms if you haven't already.

Personally, I find it really expensive and under powered.

I just started playing it. I'm absolutely no good at this game but I'm really starting to like it. Very different from the other shooters I've played over the years and the change is a welcome one.

I still wish I could just create my own operator and outfit him the way I want.

So, they want to charge 15 dollars for a cell phone game ported to the X1 and it's filled with micro transactions. Well, it's settled. This game is not for me!

Nintendo really should have made a capable console. It's just sad what they put out. They had a lot of success selling an underpowered console with the Wii and just thought they would get away with it all over again.

The average user is a lot more tech savy today than they were when the original Wii was launched. A lot more people are just wise to that game and don't want to end up buying a console that won't be supported by any 3rd party developers.

I've been over Nintendo for a very long time now. In short I think the Wii U is way under powered and over priced. I also think the tablet/controller is a big gimmick.

I remember very clearly someone from Microsoft saying this was what they were doing. I call BS on MS!

I'm not sure I've ever seen a worse launch of an online game before.

I'm probably just going to buy both consoles myself. But I was sure I was getting Xbox One, now I'm not so sure. I guess we'll see which one I end up using the most. This gen it was my 360, who knows about the next gen.

If it's PS4, I would have to get a controller with staggered analog sticks. I don't like the symmetrical, as a shooter fan I have to have the Xbox layout. I'm not sure how that would be achieved on PS4's controller with the touch screen above the sticks.

Wii software was a joke, just my opinion. Graphically, last gen, gameplay, skip back 2 or 3 generations. I see it as a really sad episode in gaming in general. Again, just my opinion.

System specifications matter, pure and simple. A computers power determines the limits of what can be done.

And in the end, they're basically saying. yes the system is less powerful but trust us the games will be alright.

For a brand that built itself on making a powerful console, it should be embarrassing to them having to use Nintendo"s PR spin from the Wii era to justify making a console that is significantly less powerful than it's closest competitor.
