His tweets were terrible but better written than his puerile Guardians scripts. The guy is an awful writer. I don't get the fanboy hysteria.

It is, however, nice to see a card-carrying member of the loony left getting eaten by the monster they created. While you congratulate yourselves on getting Alex Jones de-platformed, remember that in the subjective world of speech crime your words will be next.

Why all the negativity? It is not Pay2Win. It is a 100% FREE game. The developers did such a fantastic job connecting with the zeitgeist that their players are appreciative and support them by buying vanity items. What's the big deal?

I wonder if those of you whom object to voluntary purchases are as outraged by the involuntary confiscation of your wealth known as taxation? Epic isn't holding a pistol to anyone's head demanding they empty their wallets - unlike govs. I hope Epic makes a fortune, because they labored to produce something that people enjoy. And, btw, I've never played Fortnite and have zero interest in the genre.

The Witch was made by the same studio (A24) and is basically a companion piece of Hereditary. Different eras and settings but both family dramas where the parents are powerless to save their children from evil and are complicit in the devastation that befalls them. In both films, the only way for the teen aged protagonist to survive is to merge with the evil that destroyed their family. A24 studios partnered with the Church of Satan to promote The Witch (which is a movie about the devil triumphing over a Christian family) and now they produce Hereditary which is about a king of Hell triumphing over a nuclear family and "rejecting the Trinity", which was one of the final lines in the movie. A24 can make whatever they like, but it does seem they prefer Team Satan.

Both really, really great movies...

@santinegrete: Westboro Baptist, huh? So you would say all Jews are avaricious because of Bernie Madoff? All blacks are blood thirsty because of OJ Simpson? All Muslims are terrorists because of Bin Laden? Do you know how bigoted you are?

More importantly, does Ubisoft know how bigoted they are? Those hypocrites wouldn't dare stereotype Jews, Blacks, Gays or women, but it is okay to demonize white Christian males. So cowardly.

Scope creep is fatal to any business. Rather than announce new features every few months, perhaps Roberts would like to complete one fully playable game segment and release it to his backers. That this isn't happening should be extremely troubling to those that have crowdfunded this monstrosity. He has a limited team and needs to deploy them on FINISHING core areas rather than continually dividing manpower between a dozen different new directions. At this stage he is just ginning up new promises to squeeze the last few rubes while he oversees a white elephant that will never reach its potential.

This would be good news if...EA/BIOWARE weren't involved. Andromeda has forever ruined the Bioware brand.

@ergonomico: Yeah much better played with friends, not that I'd know. Misanthropy has inoculated me to the virus of friendship. I solo almost everything and join random groups for the rest. Good times.

If you didn't max at least one character after Taken King dlc you really never played Destiny. Everything changed after that expansion. Game got much, much better. Those that only played it just after initial release might want to give it another go before slamming it for not having any content.

Sure, Bungie should have released a full game from the jump, but they recovered and created one of the best shooters ever. And I don't even really like shooters. I just happen to be exceptionally good at them ;)
