@chev7781 @SamusCR @The_Nine Oh no im not defending gamespot at all, in fact since a bit before they did all the " new look" of the website, it started to go a bit downhill.
What im "bashing " is the fact you guys give so much importance to a review, just ignore it and move on. Check 6 reviewers more and watch gameplay footage and then you judge it yourself. If we keep "biting "the bait and commenting so much on these comments sections, well we are giving money to gamespot and attention...so yeah.
@The_Nine You are wrong, This game has been given 6, 7 as an average. Only a couple of sites gave it a 10. At the end of the day you should be very very IGNORANT to buy a game based on solely one review. Usually a well informed customer will evaluate several reviews, will play demos and such. The fact you and i are writing comments in this comment section just proves we give attention to gamespot.
The best way to deal with this is ignoring it all, not even giving your opnion, just move on and ignore the review.
Now being subjective: this game deserve max a 8. Its a copy paste of the wii formula. The gameplay is the good ol but double edgy gameplay. Just new chars,a couple of more "variety" in stages and thats it. The innovative formula that worked on wii wont work on wii u. Just check the graphics, on wii they looked beautiful and colorful but now on wii u...is the same on hd? Cant see a major difference in llumination, model details, etc. B esides dk having some fur thats the only biggest change :(.
Dont get me wrong i got a Wii U but we should admit when something is not ok. DK is a good game but its far far from deserving a great score as a product, not a must buy and never a console seller, just an ok-good game ish.
Sigh...im really really expecting the 2014 to be the year of the wii u , this year there is not a single game that is really a system seller...sure pikmin 3 looks good and so will the new DK, but they are not nothing groundbreaking nor exciting...
Im getting a wii u till i see a release date for smash/ mario kart/ xenoblade thing.

Inafune knows all the tricky shit that crapcom could bring to him, as far as you can know the only branded things are the names, there are no copyrights of similar hero designs, bosses or gameplay.
There is no way this could be brought down by crapcom, original idea, own funding, not even mentioning the blue bomber.

You realize the people that imports from Japan, tho they are several, they are probably the minority of gamers? Compared to all of those who plays ff, cod and so, try not to be so subjective when giving your opinion, even tho is YOURS itd pretty cool if you gave a more objective opinion to generate a healthy debate.

Wont be getting a Wii U till i see a real, like REAL system seller, guess that wont be happening till Smash Bros... mario, ww remake, ww101, pikmin...all of those are just ok games but nothing great.
As much as i love Nintendo, their future is grim when it comes to the Wii u, on the other hand im enjoying the shit out of my 3DS : ).
