It seems like the HD era within movies, games, etc is coming to a halt. In terms of movies, with Microsoft making there deals with paramount and such on supporting the HD-DVD it seems that once again I cannot simply own either an Blue-Ray or an HD-DVD player. I have to own them both, and now with the rumor of Microsoft throwing money at Warner Bros to support the HD-DVD only, its only pissing me off more. It seems that Microsoft's greed for wanting to control everything faset of entertainment that they can is really limiting people from enjoying an HD-movie on one format. There not going to beat Sony within that area, simply because they are a movie corperation. I wish MS would just stop on the HD-DVD's and focus more on there games and online community.

im not sure who has and has not heard this story. But the whole MS shipping over 4,000,000 360's to stores in order to achiver the previous 10,000,000 360's sold statement and not actually saleing these units is kinda embarrasing for MS. What does everyone else think?

Because I can't justify spending $700CAD+ for a BR player I don't want, MGS4 and maybe 2 or 3 other games. Seriously the only games I can name off the top of my head that I want and are PS3 exclusive are MGS 4 and GT5, and I prefer the 360's exclusive counterparts, Splinter Cell 5 and Forza Motorsport 2/PGR 4.pundog

U act like the 360 is so much better with games. Even though basically other than a few exclusives. both consoles have the same games. Oblivion, Enchanted Arms, etc. And exactly what the(-exploit deleted-) justified the 360 for being the price range that it is when it first came out. There was not a single good game on it. Except for call of duty, and thats still not saying much
