I can understand this happening. Maybe people are getting tired of killing things with numbers to get things with bigger numbers to kill more things to get even more things with bigger numbers, and so on and so forth...
"It was only a matter of time....This is in fact how the american society is acting we continue to be rolled in the conveyor belt of repetition.... Everyone has a point but no one can plunge it into the heart of corporate america......they are either too lazy or scared....slaves to game companies was something in development from the beginning ......everything is the same...Music, make a simple theme push it....Movies...burn a franchise to the ground....4 spider mans 1 remake with out enough time for the other ones to be unforgettable.....eventually every thing will crash and burn same with games...everyones obsessed if we had a control over these addictions than it wouldnt be so bad.....same with the COD....same with GUitar heroes same with everything else IPods all that grab.......i remember when you played one game for 6 months but computers and internet fees keep us shackled to this S*** for entertainment..... Why are we so smart but yet dumb to just hold the money in our pockets.....its all psychological and i cant stand what men like Bobby whatever the F*** kotick has done to the gaming industry....." UberGamer44, I don't care much for the overuse of elipses, but you raise an excellent point. All of this BS has come about because of rampant consumerism. Every bit of revenue that comes from us is a message to these companies that what they're doing is acceptable.
