And I am telling you that EA has removed the cancel option on their MMOs before.

FelipeInside

And it sounds like unsubstantiated drivel.

Honestly, take a step back and have a look at this thread. A discussion about a BUTTON that went down for about 4 HOURS and then came back up? Really???

That is true, but also consider that it was the Cancel button that went down on the day that everyone's accounts were going to be billed. Also consider that it came back up after everyone started pitching a fit about it being down. This may not be a big deal to some, but to me it speaks volumes. Especially when other people are saying that it has happened before on another game by the same publisher.

Like I said earlier, EA has done this before.

I have one day left on my free month yet I just posted proof that I can cancel...

Hm...

Sounds like much to-do about absolutely nothing.

And I am telling you that EA has removed the cancel option on their MMOs before.

With Warhammer Online?

Yes. It happened at the one-month mark there too. Different threads, like the one the other guy posted, indicates it happened other times as well. This is too similar to just chalk up to random issues.

They are just playing Little Dutchman with this Founder title, don't fall for it. They are trying to close a gaping wound of bleeding subscriptions.

D&D is alive and well, just not in video games. Play the game like it was meant to be played, with some friends on a table. Or better than that, play Pathfinder :)

I am honestly not surprised. EA did the same thing when everyone started cancelling their Warhammer Online accounts a month after launch. I had to actually call them up to cancel my account.

If this is any indication, I forgot that game even existed.

The thing about F2P MMOs, is they are like insects. If one dies, several more pop up in their place.

OMG whats the longest time between a games announcement and a release date? I was really excited about this when it was announced, I even bought a computer mag for a code for an asuran mini.DaBrainz

Well it was announced when they first started development, basically to explain to everyone why there wouldn't be any more additions to Guild Wars every six months.

I've played and enjoyed all of the Elder Scrolls, KOTOR, ME style games and like them all.

Recon19D20

You should like Dragon Age then. As far as what style it is, I would say dark fantasy. Kind of like The Witcher, if you have ever played that. The Witcher games are excellent too BTW.

And no, you don't have to play DA2 if you don't want to.
