parasite eve 2, i wanted it since release but never got it because i wanted to play through pe1 first, though that never came out here, so thats 8 years it took me to import the first and then pick up the 2nd one, but i guess I couldve got it any time between then though :)

It's the UK release though, was the only one on ebay and I was the only bidder so I got it for 99p complete nr mint lol, took ages to find a copy though.

Yeah, I kinda felt ... uh ... troubled by that ending. But I didn't dislike it. And although I would not say I was "annoyed" with it either, I think I understand how you feel about it. I respect it for wrapping up the story in a way I wasn't entirely expecting too.

[spoiler] personally, I guess it's just that it feels like such an emotionally charged game even though there's about 5 lines of proper dialogue in it I was hoping for more for the protagonist after all he put himself through for the (I assume) nameless chick. I know it kinda tied into ICO well but, I don't know, you put it pretty well when you put troubled in italics :D But maybe I didn't enjoy the ending because it didn't give me the satisfaction I get from completing most the games I enjoy which aren't so focused around the experimental crazy artyness [/spoiler]

I loved the Yakuza ending, definately very satisfying.

My favourite ending may have to be metal gear solid 2's, it all comes together in the end, with great narrative and all the philosophy and morales/themes of the game been cleverly tied up, it's too much to explain here but as MGS fans know it is incredibly deep when you're looking for it to be that way, there's a lot of content that most people probably miss. It was a satisfying and meaningful ending each of the 8 gazillion times I played it :)

Worst ending for me, this is a difficult one, shadow of the collosus had an ending that was damn annoying to me and apparently no one else (I did 'get it' btw, just thought it was rubbish, just imo). diablo 1 also - that ending sucked imo.

Actually, C&C for PS is such a rare game there are negative numbers of copies in existence...

... but truthfully, the numbers do bug out sometimes. I think C&C for PS is actually quite popular.

hahaha, i know, I wouldn't have suggested for a second that it's absoloutely any kind of rarity at all, people frequently buy copies of it off ebay for 99p, it's just gamespot been glitchy as usual, haven't seen it do that before though :)

I kinda feel compelled to get every aspect of a series, except with Mario. I have most of them, but its just not the same in my book with all the sport and party games that feature Mario.

I feel the same with stuff like that, like I couldn't be bothered with every Zelda game so I just got Colletor's Ed to make up for the NES and 64 ones I missed, same with Sonic Mega Collection and SADX (for the bonus gamegear games), that way I personally feel I don't have to buy all of them individually as in some way I do have them legally.
