This is my new religion. You can join if you'd like. Just ask if you want more information about it.

This is our symbol:

It's a cross between the letters 'R' and 'S'.

This is us taking Iwo Jima:

This is us on the moon:

This is one of our men flying over Okinawa, Japan.

Our religion is all about disributing loads. Everyone carries a load and spreads it around.

My load is pretty darn massive.

Darn you, Theokhoth!

Playstation Home, lol.

I played the home beta a lot last night.

I was pretending to be a girl. I made this really cute girl avatar and hooked up with guys.

Then I would quickly changed back to my guy avatar and they get all mad and run away! lol! :P

One of the guys invited me to his house party and I got in a cat fight with this girl.

Everyone stopped dancing and gathered around me and the girl. The guy told me to leave his house.

I told him that I wanted to talk to him. Alone. Upstairs. I told him that I loved him and that I was a guy. He got very angry and told me to leave now.

Then he went downstairs and told everyone, "Uhh..guys? I gotta go." He logged off the game!

lol! :P

Yay! PSP-3000!

Wow! The screen is so beautiful!

The colors are vivid, no more ghosting, deeper black levels and it's brighter too!

And it feels good in my hands! :D

MP3 Player Showdown: Walkman vs. iPod

by on

VS.

Features:

Winner: Walkman

When it comes to features, the Walkman wins, hands down. With the iPod all you can really do in terms of listening to music (the main purpose of an MP3 player),
is listen to an audio file that you've selected. You can also adjust the volume, but there is no custom graphic equalizer. This is really disappointing. I have an old CD player that had this feature. There are presets on the new iPods, which is nice, but
they aren't as effective when compared to the Walkman. You can't even delete songs or edit song information on your iPod. You have to connect it to iTunes to be able ANY file manipulation.

Design:

Winner: iPod

This is where Apple really shows their colors. The GUI and exterior design is simple and elegant. While the Walkman players look great, they don't stand out as much as the iPod.

Sound Quality:

Winner: Walkman

It really depends on the actual audio file (encoding bit-rate) when it comes down to sound quality, but Sony's latest players have DSEE (Digital Sound Enhancement Engine) that enhances the sound quality for even low bit rate songs (you can easily hear the difference), 5 band equilizers, 2 custom, clear stereo and clear bass technology. I tested one song on both an iPod Nano (1st Gen) and my Sony Ericsson W810i. There was a noticeable difference. The bass was much clearer with the W810i. We also played with the Walkman's 5-band equalizer and turned the bass as high is it would go. Surprisingly, there was no audio distortion. The iPod suffered from a little distortion when we used the 'bass boost feature' and the bass on the iPod muffled everything else. We used Creative HQ-1400 headphones for this test.

Storage:

Winner: Walkman

More isn't always better. It is what you can do with that storage that makes it better. Sure, 16 or 32GB is nice, but what can you do with that space?
When we plugged in our W810i into a computer running Vista, it recognized it as a
storage device. All I had to do was drag and drop the music files into the MUSIC folder. If I wanted to create a playlist, I just created another folder within that one. I could easily drag and drop as I please. I can create a folder on my desktop and drag all my music from my Walkman into that folder with ease.

With the iPod, things were completely different. iTunes came up. Windows did not recognize it as a storage device. Apple does not want you to be able to do whatever you want with your files. You are forced to use iTunes and ONLY iTunes to organize the files on your iPod. iTunes is a nice music organizer, but there were some restrictions. First of all, we could not just drag and drop freely between our computer and iPod. Every single music file that you use MUST be in the iTunes library before you can move it to your iPod.

Overall:

Winner: Walkman

It is obvious that Apple's mindset for their products is design over functionality.
Design is important, but it should NEVER overshadow functionality so much that features are REMOVED just to make things more simplistic.

The Sony Walkman has the perfect balance of design and functionality. The GUI is designed very well and is easy to use. All the important features are there and they don't give you a crap-load of useless features that have nothing to do with playing music. The sound quality of Sony's Walkman is unmatched. There was a huge difference between it and the iPod. If you really don't care about how stylish your MP3 player looks, we HIGHLY recommend the Sony Walkman over Apple's iPod.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toHVyuEryy0

I worked really hard on this. I had very little footage to work with and I managed to make this alternate intro for GT5 Prologue. :)

I used Adobe Primere PRO CS3 to make the video.

I made a topic about it, but it got deleted.... I guess you can only post art in the form of images. :?

The song is "Are You Gonna Go My Way" by Lenny Kravitz (Gran Turismo Remix) I hope you guys like it.

This is WAY too large to be uploaded on this site. Sorry. Enjoy!
