I am thinking of buying this game but will only be playing the single player mode because I don't have anyone else to play with. Is the game very multiplayer focused or can you enjoy the game in single player too ?
Yeah I have to agree, I just finished the single player and while I did enjoy it a lot it was not a 10 for me, more like an 8.5. The last quarter or third of the game started to feel really repetitive and I was finding myself not caring about exploring every little bit anymore. By far the best aspect of the game was the developing relationship between Joel and Ellie (I guess thats what the whole game is about really). Also the ending was kinda abrupt and short. So yeah the game was good but not that good.
I have to get this out there, I cannot stand the multiplayer in the game. I have just finished the single player which I really loved and I thought I would play the mp for a while. Before you all start saying it yes I am bad at the MP but DAM no game has ever infuriated me as much as this. I am rank 0 so why am I constantly being matched up with experienced players much higher than myself with all kinds of updgrades ? I have never played any multiplayer in my life that makes me rage as much as this game does. I came extremely close to taking the disc out and snapping it in half, after 1 hour I am completey done with the multiplayer. Rant over, ahhhhhh.
You can disable the autosave by starting a new game and when you create a save file press circle to go back, the game will then ask you if you want to disable to autosave feature and choose yes. Remember to save often though incase you die and have to go back really far.
Yeah same problem here, just logged in today to check some news articles and I can't see the comments underneath, just a massive gap where they should be, this has been happening on and off for a while now.
Hey, I wanted to use my vita on 3g so I went to the Vodafone website to buy some credit and it asks for my mobile number (dont know how to find this on my vita). Anyway i discovered that I could use 3g anyway and I could browse to any website so how does this work ? does it charge you autmatically or something, I can use 3g and havent even entered in any payment details or anything. Does the carrier charge you automatically when you try to go online, in the past I had to enter in my bank details before it would work...
And yes wi-fi is turned off in the settings and only mobile data is turned on. Can anyone explain to me how this works because apparantly I can use 3g without paying.
Yeah... I am a total addict as well, been playing this game for a long time, probably the game that I play most on my Vita and its free. Try to always get the time extenders and I use the lightening and explosive bonuses, combined with the orange totem which adds time to the clock whenever you get orange gems . To be honest though most of my highest scores have been without any bonuses or totems so luck plays a big part.
