My daily dose of the painful truth...

Gotta love Maxine...

Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country lately:
illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida...

Not me. I concentrate on solutions for the problems. It's a win-win situation.

+ Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.

+ Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levies.

+ Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.

Any other problems you would like me to solve today? Yes!

Think about this one:

1. Cows
2. The Constitution
3. The Ten Commandments

Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq... Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal,' 'Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery,' and 'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians... It creates a hostile work environment.

If this offends you or if you're afraid to agree with this for fear of offending someone, guess what.. you're part of the problem..

I've spent most of my morning, today, procrastinating by getting caught up on some games coming out that I've overlooked. Aion sounded so very sweet with you being able to have 'wings' by lvl 10 (I think) and aerial combat (something I'd love to do in WOW since I'm a druid with flight form) but as far as I can tell, it's a pvevp, pvp and pve mix, mmo (I haven't been able to confirm if it's pvevp only) which sucks for me since I love to pve with the occasional pvp when I feel like it, and with NCSoft behind the wheel, it's probably going to be a 'grind-fest'.. don't get me wrong, I love grind-fests, just not in my games.. *giggling*

Another one that I looked into was Edge of Twilight. The e3 09 trailers, not at btw, completely intrigued me (Someone Special & The Fall).... beautiful 'mood' music, poetic narration... It's 3rd person which sorta blows but the fighting/combat reminds me of Devil May Cry.. anyway, I hope it's just not all smoking mirrors but only time will tell since it's back in development hell for who knows how long.

*Disclaimer: Procrastination, young grass-hoppa, isn't for faint of heart since it takes years to master*

I played COD:World at War yesterday, only to die countless times.. lol. I would love to say that the game just flat out handed me my ass on a platter but sadly, it wasn't that, I apparently have come across a glitch/bug in the game as which that I get 'stuck' on something and can only run in one direction. It reminds me of my controller joystick 'sticking' and not being able to move, turn, etc.. :x

So, I resorted to playing WoW.... running around doing 'drive-by moons' to only be giggled at, hugged, licked, danced with, and a few times smacked.. *giggling*

I just noticed that I finally got my Nintendo emblem from but ironically, I watched all thelive e3 pressers and Nintendo is the one I only watch 50% of.. lol.. oh well.. Recongoddess is a sad little pleasurebear today.. :(

And the thrill is gone...

I've noticed over the past month or 3, lol, I haven't been playing WOW religiously like I use to. When my main toon hit level 80, it was a joyous yet sad moment for me.. It was like 'I'm all grown up now, now what?' lol. I worked on getting my reputation up with certain factions to buy their mount, I've been pvp'ing in Wintergrasp, hell, I even have a loot card that gave me a 'pwn flag' for the game.. yes, I used it in Wintergrasp.. *giggling* So I'm pondering if my next goal should be leveling up my other toons to hit 80 or to continue to run around in pvp areas mooning everyone.. hmmmm :D

And for the record, my main toon is Alliance, but I have one 'baby' Horde toon.. I play to have fun, I'm not a 'in your face fangirl' and I really really hate it when I see in general chat, players calling other players 'noobs' because they ask a question.. grrrrrr

On a different note, I am and shall always be a noob'ette.... deal with it

*Disclaimer: Not responsible for making little fanboys cry or offending anyone if I 'moon' them in WOW*

Things.. just things..

I recently..correction.. a month or 3 ago, started playing The Witcher.. wow, what an addictive game. I don't think I'm even 50% through the game, so no spoilers. ;)

I haven't been on xbl lately, which is a sad thingy really because I do miss it and I miss everyone on there as well. Which reminds me of a story.. have you ever ran into or had a fair-weather friend.. sorta like a fair-weather fan but a little bit more 'sad'. I have a few of these type of friends on xbl.. sad really because I never saw it before. Long story short, I took a break from xbl because I've been playing xbl since the beginning.. way back when.. and I just needed a 'break'. But now that I've started playing again, it seems like the ones I knew the best on xbl are a little 'niffed' that I took a break and umm, how shall I put this.. they/we don't game, cut-up like we use too.. I know you all have read the mis-adventures of goddess .. *giggling* It's like I was replaced.. does that make sense? lol

So, my pondering thought for the day is: Why isn't it possible for certain guys to game with more than one female at a time? I mean..come on, I have to game with at least 5-6 guys at the same time.. why can't guys do the same thing? lol

The saga continues..

There is nothing like playing RS:Vegas or H3 and sneaking up behind someone and whispering to them before you shoot them or smack them in the back of the head (classic Recongoddess move) and what makes it even better is the fact that sometimes I don't kill you, I just whisper something and move on so you never know when I'm going to take you out.. heh..

In the Burnout world, I'm about 19 races from my 'A' license which is a big deal to me since I don't really enjoy the 'single player' mode.. and thanks to GreggD, I have to go back and set a few more new records for 'crash road rule'... curse you

As for the GDC, I haven't been 'surprised' or 'excited' about any news so far.. well, there is Peter Molyneux hyping the sh*t out of a 'new franchise' that the Black & White (pc game) team has been working on so I'm looking forward to that announcement and a cute little game has been announced.. BioWare's Sonic RPG (ds game), Sonic Chronicles:The Dark Brotherhood.. heh... but there are still a few days left for the GDC, so we'll see.

I was reading a review for game Professor Layton and the Curious Village, which I want btw, and found myself second guessing the review. The questions running through my head were along the lines if it was a 'real' review or a paidoff 'review'... and I found myself sitting here sad. It's depressing that I can't come here anymore and really read a review about something without wondering the motive behind it. Yes, I know I have said in the past that I play what I want, etc. and I don't buy a game because of someone's 'paid' opinion but I was curious what my 'fellow' gamers thought about this little ds game and I happen to see at the top of the page that had given it a 9.0... anyway, moving on... I hope everyone is having a great weekend.
