I just beat this game the other day, and for the most part enjoyed it! the start was great, the cloud riding was fun, and the characters were great. However, some things just really pissed me off! why is it in the all the moments where the player could get a chance to ride something cool, he instead doesn't?! Spoiler alert!!!

For starters, when Trip uses the power cell to drive that military car/van, does Monkey get inside it and drive it? no! when monkey frees the sub to get to Leviathan, do we get some sort of submarine shooting action? no! Heck, even when Monkey and his friends steal the Leviathan and go through the desert in it, does monkey get to shoot anything from a gunner or pilot seat? no! Instead, pigsy just orders him to the outside to smash robots while he drives and guns away at anything that moves! And also, when Monkey finally gets his ride, do we get to drive it even for a little? nope...

And lastly, what is it with the lack of human character interactions? I'm sure I'm not the only one who expected Trip and Monkey to find some people to talk to?(and not just one person)

Hmm well in the Half Life area you should try Opposing Force and Blue Shift. Also download the They Hunger mod(which is AWESOME) for halflife. Also, Clive Barker's Undying and Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. there are point and click games out too that are good: Mystery Case Files Diregrove and Nightmares from the Deep the Cursed heart. you might be able to run Fable as well btw.

Yeah you've a point; funny how Halo started out as a very unknown game and then the series got milked by Halo 2. didnt the developers say they rushed it? but yeah going backwards in time it was great playing games in the 90's, the graphics didnt have to be the best but damn the games were awesome! Marathon 2, Lords of the Realm, Deus Ex, etc were all great games! And yes, if people were smarter games sales would decline for the better; they'd have to pull people in somehow.
