The final stages of World Xplorer are a nightmare. Racing against opponents with a disgracefully huge advantage (unlimited nitrous) can push you well beyond the limits of fury...

- Bioshock 1 & Bioshock 2 - Unique, absorbing and thought provoking. MILES ahead of anything else.

I miss competative gaming in the arcades (where people needed to be more careful about the rubbish that fell out of their mouths), and much prefer playing games at home with my real mates than playing with pseudo buddies online. That was the way things were in MY gen though, and the market is catering to what a different audience wants now, which is very different. Welcome to your first contact with the generation gap. ;)

Try to keep in mind that people see the past through rose colored glasses. Nostalgia is also quite deceptive, as we don't always take into account how much WE have changed over time. The lure of nostalgia is in the re-capturing of our history, but the item linked to it is often more of a conduit than an example of unchallenged excellence.

Too hard to limit it to three...

If I could only buy five games, they would be:

- Resistance: Retribution

- Final Fantasy: Crisis Core

- Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords

- FIFA 09

- Tekken 6

Some of the 2D games have held up quite well. The early 3D games look pretty awful now though.

MK2 still looks great. ;)

Straight.. and why do gays and particularly bisexuals take such an interest in this? Your sexuality is not a hobby! SolidSnake35

Fantastic comment. ;)

An individual's sexuality is not a hobby, a skill, or an achievement.

Frankly, it's not even a very interesting conversation topic, as evidenced by the brevity of most responses to this question.

I couldn't stand Mass Effect..... *runs away*

Hobbsey07

I would certainly nominate Mass Effect as one of the most mind-numbingly boring games of all time...

But this has to be the single worst game of all time:

I once asked someone I really respected this same question. His answer was simple...

"Responsibility"

I remember being pretty disappointed with the answer, but that was because I didn't understand the complexity of it.

When this answer makes sense, you're on the right track. ;)
