Dazed and Confused is the closet a movie has ever come to portraying what my high school was like in the 70's. It was much more hellish, though.

[QUOTE="Kats_RK"]

Bioware community.I went there once and the Tali fans just scare me.

C_Glass

That's weird, Tali is probably the WORST romance option in any bioware game considering how generic her personality is, really she's a stable bookworm-type, that is BORING. There is nothing about her character that stands out unlike previous characters in bioware games. I especially liked Aribeth in Neverwinter Nights :HOTU, and Bastilla in KOTOR, as they were conflicted but that is what made them seem so human...neither really knew what they were doing and they were somewhat emotionally unstable for it, and thus, human.

Tali? I never encountered her break down or doubt the mission, there's never really an arc with her personality, she's just a flatline book-worm type.

Somewhat of a tangent but yea, somewhat odd that people would like such a flatline of a character.

Exactly. Because they can't see her face, and she has no stand-out character traits, she a good projection screen for their fantasies.

[QUOTE="nocoolnamejim"]Tokenism Conservatives seem to think that rolling out a Ted Cruz or an Allen West or a Bobby Jindahl or Allan Keyes or Condi Rice or, for that matter, a Sarah Palin will fix their problems with certain minority groups. This is a blind viewpoint. Those demographics don't fail to support the Republican Party because they haven't trotted out a candidate of a certain race or gender. They don't support the Republican Party because the Republican Party as a whole supports policies that either don't benefit them or actively harm them. Just finding some token minority candidate to be a standard bearer isn't going to magically make minorities warm to the Republican party. It's actually a form of racism or sexism to think that the only reason that these groups support the Democratic party is because they have minority candidates.

Well put. Thank you for that.

@rubber-duckie (sorry! couldn't resist), that is what fanfiction.net is for. Youcan read or write about the further adventures of your favorite characters. It's not the same as playing the game, more like getting a letter from someone you miss.

I always get attached to my own PCs and so I can really only play through any game once, otherwise I miss my original PC. I only do subsequent playthroughs to do things that are out of character for me, and my heart's not in it. So, I have over 250+ hours in both Oblivion and Skyrim with exactly one PC apiece, while the rest of my family have spent about the same time, but countless playthroughs.

Also, the horses: I have to keep them alive. Oblivion being my favorite game,I still have Prior Maborel's Paint horse, although I did finally retire him to the Priory and now ride a modded steed.
