I think this all depends on what you are looking for.

If you want your game to be 50 hours of play and that is what the buyer considers worth the initial pricing then no, games like Uncharted are not worth it. However, there are other values that can be attributed to the value of the game. Maybe you love the storylines/campaigns as was mentioned. Or you played all the previous games so you place value on a new game in that series valuable to you.

This is all a matter of opinion, I think the only time you can truly say a game is not worth it is when it is generally received to be a poorly made game by most gamers/consumers. For example, the Superman game on the N64. That game has been stated by mostly everyone as one of the worst games ever made, so at the time I believe games were released for 50 dollars, if I remember correctly. So in that case it is generally conceived to not be worth 50 dollars. Although, and I hate to say it, I am sure someone would take up a sword to defend that game. I don't know who but I'm sure someone was of the opinion they enjoyed that game.
