A lot of people have tried to complain and whine about how "Titanfall is just like COD" and blah, blah, blah. I played COD and didn't care for it. But Titanfall is tons of fun. The game isn't as revolutionary as it's be... Read Full Review20 of 28 users found the following review helpful
I have to admit that I am a tad bias. Defiance just so happens to take place in my own backyard, the San Francisco Bay Area. However, that could have also led to disappointment. Yet, despite some setbacks, Defiance is a ... Read Full Review10 of 14 users found the following review helpful
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
I haven't written a review in a while, so the fact that I am taking time to write one for this game means something. Ni No Kuni is special. It's special in a way many games aren't these days. Whereas most games these day... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Dishonored has been one of my most anticipated games of the year, if not THE game I've been looking forward to. After hearing things like 'this is Deus Ex meets Bioshock meets Half Life 2', I was so gitty you could call ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
A good sequel will be at least as good as it's predecessor. A great sequel will do everything better. Guild Wars 2 is a great sequel. Nearly every area of the first game is improved, from travel to crafting. As a fan of ... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
It's sad to see Mass Effect finally go with this third game, but it does so in grand style. Mass Effect 3 is epic. Epic in the way that you feel like you matter in the universe of this game, but yet still feel small. Whe... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Mass Effect 3
BioWare elevates MMO's to a new lvl by creating immersive, fully produced stories that feel like they matter.
For as long as MMO's have been around, plot has always been shaky territory. For some reason, most MMO's just couldn't get over the nack of producing an immersive story that could match gameplay elements. Sure, they migh... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Every year there are a slew of unique, independent games that get deserving recognition. Often times these are overlooked by the majority of gamers, like the old-school style Gemini Rue and Grey Matter, but are none the ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Jurassic Park: The Game
A cinematic gaming experience if ever there was one, where gameplay and cinema quality meet near perfectly.
Attaining a balance between film-like quality in game and fantastic gameplay can often only be achieved by having a lot of money to produce such a game and a mastery over the combination of excellent gameplay and excitin... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Being that the Deus Ex series is a heavily story and character based piece of work, it's not terribly surprising that Missing Link is an attempt to add to the conspiracy, answering questions and pushing forward the missi... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Batman: Arkham Asylum may not necessarily been a surprise, but it's pretty safe to say that it wowed pretty much everyone who got their hands on it. Arguably the greatest game based on a comic book property ever, it was ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Never has a Gamespot review been so wrong. Assault Horizon is a welcome addition to an excellent library of games.
As stated, never has a review for a game been so wrong. What Gamespot calls a boring, repetitive, soulless game is in fact an exciting, consistently changing game that packs plenty of variation. No doubt, this is not the... Read Full Review3 of 11 users found the following review helpful
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Games come and games go, but only a few games out there can stand the test of time. Deus Ex, which came out more than 10 years ago, is one of those games. At the time, it was a breakthrough. It showed the power game deve... Read Full Review2 of 4 users found the following review helpful
A highly underrated game that carries the best of it's creative team into a strange and fantastic world.
The lack of a push for this game puzzles me, as does the poor sales. Shadows of the Damned has a pedigree of game makers that most games can't boast. Shinji Mikami, the man who crafted Resident Evil and essentially redef... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Duke Nukem Forever
My review may reflect a game that I don't care much for, but that isn't true. Despite dreadful reviews and a general distaste for the game, the expectations for DNF have been pretty unrealistic. Not sure exactly what peo... Read Full Review6 of 6 users found the following review helpful
Rockstar has done it again. What they did for the Western, they've done for Noir. It's not entirely a perfect game, but it comes damn near close, with a fantastic take on 1940's Los Angeles that is not only authentic, bu... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful

When Homefront was announced, it quickly became one of the most anticipated shooters of 2011. It's controversial war story was one people anticipated, after all, something like this was rarely done. Even Modern Warfare 2... Read Full Review1 of 2 users found the following review helpful
In the world of Adventure Gaming, Jane Jensen is huge name, like Spielberg is to film. An author by nature, and partly by career, the absence of Jane from the gaming market has been disappointing for many fans. However, ... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful

Like many, I grew up on Sonic games. Genesis was my first 16-bit system and Sonic was my first game. And for a while, it was good. Each successive sequel was better than the one before, adding more to it, improving the g... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
Reading Gamespot's score of this game, I couldn't help but feel that it was a perfect example of what players expect when they play an MMO these days. World of Warcraft has set the pace for MMO's by making them simplifie... Read Full Review16 of 58 users found the following review helpful

APB is a fun game to play, combining elements of GTA-style gameplay and MMO's, just don't play the game alone.
It's hard to say that APB isn't all it claims to be. It definately promises what it advertises: a cops and robbers battle in a city that lets you drive around and shoot weapons. Sadly, there isn't much more to the game. ... Read Full Review4 of 5 users found the following review helpful
While it'd story doesn't have the same impact as the likes of MGS4, it's still a hell of a lot of fun.
I was skeptical about Peace Walker when I first heard about it. After MGS4 concluded the story of the Metal Gear series (including the original 2), I really couldn't be interested in any prequel chapters. I tend to be di... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
