My Favourite Games of All Time

I like a lot of games, some more than other but these are the games I truely love.

Note: 1-7 in order. 8-* in no particular order.

Mass Effect Trilogy

[Instant classics] The Mass Effect trilogy(PC) gets the #1 spot on my list :) Bioware has created an incredible universe with fantastic races and characters; captivating stories; cool looking tech, guns, worlds and so much more. I have clocked over 450 hours between the three games and I will continue replaying them in the coming years.

Dragon Age: Origins

[Instant classic] Dragon Age: Origins(PC) is truely an EPIC game. The origin stories flesh out the world even more and are all connected to the plot. The main story is nothing special but the things that happen in-between that and the characters you meet are simply amazing. Bioware did what they do best - creating awesome worlds and characters. Dark Souls

[Instant classic] The amount of cool sh*t in this game is ridiculous. Probably the best level & environment design I've seen in a RPG. Superb combat and "souls" systems, cool bosses and innovative online mechanics. Even the story is great but you have to dig deep... very deep. The more you play the more you learn to appreciate the game due to its incredible replayability(challenge & speed runs).

Darksiders

Fantastic visual style, great combat system, cool story, bad-ass characters, excellent level design, interesting puzzles, memorable music, varied gameplay... it's the best "Zelda" game after Ocarina of Time and A Link to the Past. AMAZING GAME!

Dungeon Siege II: Deluxe Edition

Dungeon Siege 2 is soooo underrated. In my opinion, it's the best dungeon crawler ever made.

Prince of Persia: Warrior Within

The only bad thing I can say about it is the sometimes awful dialog during battles and occasional sound problems otherwise this game is amazing. Gameplay is better than ever. Awesome parkour sequences and environments, superb combat system, great story with nice twists and two different endings. This is THE best Prince of Persia game ever made. Period. If someone asked me what my favourite game mechanics were I'd say "prince of persia parkour" and time-rewind.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Retribution

Over 800 hours of multiplayer mayhem... (vDoW2, Chaos Rising and Retribution). If you want the full multiplayer experience then buy this game. Chaos Rising's singleplayer is superb btw.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

[Instant classic] The combat is repetitive and becomes boring after a while but the parkour sequences are excellent. The story and characters are awesome. Time rewind FTW!

Need for Speed: Underground 2

The racing genre isn't one of my favourites but I like this game A LOT. It has all kinds of different racing types/modes and the car customization is awesome. I love it.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones

Great game. It ended the trilogy nicely and it had some pretty sweet parkour sequences. Definitely a game that deserves to be on this list. As far as I'm concerned there are only 3 Prince of Persia games and they are all on this list.

Guild Wars

My first and only MMO addiction. I remember liking the PvE but what I really liked was the PvP. The best PvP system in any MMO. Great visuals, music and no monthly fees :). I could kill the last boss all by myself. I'm awesome.

Counter-Strike

The best multiplayer FPS ever. I have so many great memories playing 1.4 and 1.5 in gaming cafes.

My favourite platformer. I love the level design and the whole flow of the gameplay. The boss battles are very cool too.

F.E.A.R.

An excellent FPS with great horror elements and slow-mo mechanic. The story is great and the gun play feels awesome. "Flash light!!!"

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent

Probably not the best SC game but it's the one I liked the most. Great story, characters and missions. The whole double agent thing is really cool.

Incredible and interesting world, characters and music. The gameplay is not bad either and yet this is one of the most underrated and overlooked games ever.

Super Metroid

Amazing gameplay and level design but the game becomes even more awesome when you learn the speed run techniques. They change the game so much.
