If it's not overheating then there aren't very many other reasons for it to power off. 1) You did a clean install of the video drivers, correct? 2) Make sure you have the Windows BSOD enabled (Start -> Control Panel -> System ->"Advanced" tab -> "Startup and Recovery" settings button -> uncheck automatically restart). If you get a BSOD make note of the error number and message. Also check error logs (Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer). 3) Another reason for the power off could be because of lack of power. When does it crash--during intense gaming, or while sitting on your desktop?

Just touch a metal part of the case while holding the parts...that's all an anti-static bracelet would do anyway.

If you're going to do games go with a 17" screen so you can get a decent video card.

Are you using a driver provided by emachines (if your wireless is integrated)? Also, are you able to see any wireless networks and is wireless enabled?

That temperature is acceptable and shouldn't cause any problems. Sometimes an older driver will work better so try one of those if it's available.

I gatther that you are trying to resize your taskbar. Right click on the taskbar. Make sure "Lock the Taskbar" doesn't have a check by it. If "Lock the Taskbar" does have a check by it uncheck it. The functionality should now be back to what you want.
