I had a little problem understanding how to play Fear Effect on Playstation at first. It's a good thing the instruction manual was included when I bought it. Aside from that, I also had problems finding out how to climb down the ladders in O.D.T. also for the PS1. Isolved the same problem by reading the manual.

It just goes to show how helpful the manual really is, doesn't it?

There are barely any newer games that catches my interest. The only ones that do are sequels or remakes of games I grew up with like the new Medal of Honor game, Mafia 2 and Grand Theft Auto 4.

I had a chance to purchase both Dino Crisis games for the PS1 for just $15.

Maybe Music 2000 is specially designed to save without a memory card.

I'm just like you. I spent so long working on expanding my retrogames that I lost intrest in the newer games (there are some exceptions) and the newer consoles.

The tendency to make the graphics great, rather then the actual gameplay.

I'm only 18, and despite that I've grown up with NES, Sega Genesis, PS1, N64, Gamecube, PS2, and Dreamcast (I played it once at a gamestore very briefly)

Because they're not as expensive as modern games, yet you still get a lot of enjoyment out of them.
