@darthrevenx: Yeah It's happened with some of the GTAs on Steam too. Thankfully if you own the digital version, there's always an unofficial patch by someone to patch the songs back into the game. The only game I don't own on Steam digitally between the Mafia, RDR (RDR I have on X360 as a disc) and GTA series is Mafia 1 so I torrented that. As far as I'm concerned, if they don't let me buy the game, I should be allowed to pirate it since they won't be losing money on a sale.
Only reason I prefer digital is because I don't ever have to worry about storage space. Easier to keep a track of it for me. Nonetheless I get your point.
@PETERAKO: Yeah sucks. They seem to have taken down both previous entries of the series from Steam because of this. At the very least rip the music out and put in some filler instrumentals and let me buy the damn games on Steam.
@NicAgent: I really don't understand how this would ever be possible unless they limit the digital supply for games to a certain amount which they would never do.
@smokerob79: I don't agree with you. Just because apparently many people are buying their micro transactions doesn't mean the game isnt' enjoyable without buying them. I haven't paid any money into GTA Online but enjoyed the hell out of it without paying anything other than buying the base game.
@jayz0ned: They'll probably push it as far as they can in terms of CPU, GPU and RAM within the budget constraits of the console price. They'll be aware that Microsoft are also dong a half gen upgrade and Microsoft won't want to be outdone for the second time this gen in terms of hardware. It'll be interesting to see the final configs for both consoles.
@jayz0ned: Let's hope it's only cosmetic. Sony should enforce rules on their ecosystem protecting early PS4 buyers by implementing rules that only allow for cosmetic variations between half generations
