@Epak_: Lock On + Jump + Direction to roll.
Jumping has invincibility.
His ground move Shuffle is fully invincible and you can cancel it into an invincible jump before it hits.
Air taunt is invincible.
Gerbera's Breaker move is invincible AND hits at the same time.

@Epak_: Every time you pause the game theres a big piece of text that tells you a basic form of dodge.
Game of the decade.
I hope they do end up having post release support. I always thought DLC could work really wall for a DMC game, but I need to see whats in the base game first.
@blackballs: I think the issue is more that the game is mechanically bad on top of being poorly written, combined with really garbage PR from Ninja Theory at the time. People complained very hard about gameplay and not entirely on visuals and journalists tried to frame it as if people just didn't like his hair.
DMC5 is very good.
@iambatman7986: It's literally just additional in game currency to purchase stuff in game with. The deluxe edition comes with 300,000 orbs, and if you look at all the gameplay footage where people have been able to complete a mission, mind you both of them weren't full missions, they got 25K+ in a game that will likely have 20 missions all of which of infinitely and quickly repeatable at any point. And if it's like DMC4SE, the orb purchases are a one time purchase and are tied to a save.
I think people are way too upset about this. DMC4SE had it, and they made it even easier to earn orbs and proud souls in that. There's an article of someone who went through the demo and saw that all the prices capped around 20K orbs except for some random thing that was 3 million, and if it's what I think it is, I'm entirely fine with it being expensive. It's even a bit of a series trope to have maxed out orbs at some point anyway.
They have an in-game revive system where you can spend red orbs to revive after dying in the same spot, similar to gold orbs, but gold orbs are in the game too. Otherwise you can just restart at a checkpoint for free. Having more moves isn't going to make this kind of game easier.
Comparatively the bigger issue would technically be weapon DLC. Some of the skins promise better versions, and while I think it's likely they just come with an already existing upgrade in addition to a new visual, it's content being locked behind a paywall. Which I only dislike because the game isn't released yet, but it's overall fine. I fully support DLC weapons in a game like this.
Not buying the game will show people don't want a DMC. Buying the game but not the microtransactions will show people don't want those.
