Hell yes there going to have RE2 in if as well. Had to be the best of all the old games. I'd agree with a remake of 2 as long as it kepts the same plot as the old one. Coop in this game looks amazing, can't wait. Oh and Railer shooters can be done on a console. Killer 7 is a great game that most people never played. The plot was great and the shooting was fun. Capcom has experiance in Rail shooters so I expect the best.
I agree that Capcom needs to bring RE5 to Wii. What will be lost in translation thought thats the main problem. The trailer makes the game out to be all action all the time and aganist insane numbers of 28 days later like zombies. If the game looks like that when its comes out it may be hard for it to be a port. The lighting alone would be dulled down and thats what makes the game look real. In not sure what you can get out of Wii in power but i doubt it can do that. If Capcom says that they will make RE5 for the Wii, It saves me 300 dollars if they do.
I have to agree with you, I own the PS2 version and really didn't feel the need to buy it again. I rented it and yeah the controls are cool but its the same game. UC looks to be the only newish RE game Capcom wants to put on the Wii. You look at EA and other Thrid partys they are jumping on the Wii band wagon but Capcom with the exception of UC seems to be moving away. Hopefull Capcom will give some of the other games in the series a update if they don't continue the series on the Wii.
Like I said yes I have seen the real time trailer. It would take a lot of effort to do it. All Capcom has to do is look at the number of Wii's on store shelves. Wii's are still selling out and the profit Capcom could make on a version of RE5 for the Wii is hard to pass up. It would be a smart move. What will really decide it 5 comes to Wii is the sales of UC this november. So till then I'm still going to have to find a spare 300 dollars to buy a 360 so i can play Re5 if it doesn't come to wii.
No not really, RE5 is possilbe to port to the Wii. It would take a large effort from Capcom to do it right and not its not like putting gears of war on wii because Gears of War can only kick ass on 360. RE4 worked well on Wii, RE5 looks to have the same control style as 4. To that we have to wait and see what Capcom does.
True most Rail shooters have no plot but again look at another Capcom game Killer 7. Railer Shooter boring but I played it for the insanely werid plot. Hopefully this game can have both insane action but still have a decent story around it. As for the story, newer gamers may not have played the older Resident Evils. Hopefully they give enough background so that gamers that didn't play the old games know what going on. Overall yeah its a FPS Arcade style shooter which is why I'm buying it, but I'd like to see it follow the story of the games(somewhat) as you go throught.
Why would you not get this game? It connects the games and hopefully ends the old plot with it. I'd like something new like re4 did. What has me confused is they skipped 2. Why would they skip 2? It was the best one and I played that one more than any of the others. I'd love to gun my way throught the police station with Leon and Claire. Anyway My friend and I can't wait for this so we can coop throught the game.
After watching the 3rd trailer for RE5 I pretty sure that they can port that. The game looks like they revamped the game engine a little to give more options in battle. Gameplay looks amazing and just think about how easy and fun the controls would be for the wii. All and All I don't have the money to go out and buy a 360 so I really hope they port it to Wii. I'll take the dulled down grafics as long as smooth it out and make it look as good if not better than Re4. To that I hope they don't screw up the UC and the Wii Zapper. My Friend and I have been dying to play the Coop with that game.
