I'm pretty convinced this is going to be another great game by Ubisoft but gat damn it do I hate that they changed Sam Fishers voice. I honestly would have been happier with a new character, they could have then created a next series of SC games based on him, maybe with Sam as his mentor or somehing. This makes me worry that with Rocksteady no longer working on the Batman: Arkham series that they'll changes Bat's voice too. That might ruin my life lol

I'm a huge SC fan and have been playing since it's creation. I agree, with my love for stealth that the approach they have taken over the last few titles wasn't the best. Though watching this video and having read up on the game, I get the feeling it will play much more like the very first splinter cell with some nuances.

@adamomars obviously Sam Fishers movement is similar to Etzio or any character from the AC series. First off, same developer generally speaking. Secondly, considering the success of AC and the familiarity many Gamer's will have with the movement/ climbing, to use some of the same mechanics is just smart on Ubisofts part. Your just a hater.

I've read a number of these posts and the general consensus- based on these rumors- is that everyone is pissed with Microsoft.

Personally I've never owned a Playstation console. When XBOX first dropped I grabbed one and have been loyal since. Before that I was a Nintendo kinda guy. I've had plenty experience with both systems through friends and roommates alike, and quite honestly both have their pros and cons. There have been times where I've cursed my 360 and others where I've pointed fingers and laughed at those experiencing issues with their PS3's.

Now with regards to the rumors, I'm leaning toward a PS4 which I can honestly say I thought would never, ever happen...ever. I've loved my XBOX's, even through the RROD days. But what these rumors are suggesting does not logically sit well with me.

Always online? FAIL, anyone playing Defiance right now can share the frustrations, imagine that with every title, whether playing on your own or not!? A less powerful console? Now the argument that graphics don't make a game are more than valid, but I personally am one for visuals to support an already great game. A game has to fulfill most of your desires based on the genre of game, but being awed every time a cut scene jumps back into gameplay and it looks exactly the same, nothing better. It just adds to the reality of your imagination that the game has already tapped into. Think back to playing Final Fantasy and seeing the awesome graphics in the cut scenes on the Playstation and thinking to yourself "I can't wait until gameplay graphics actually look like THAT!!" Well that time has come and there's no reason to dumb down the satisfaction. Games costing more is inevitable whether the next gen or the next next gen, it's called inflation, pick up an economics or finance book and look it up. The mandatory Kinect integration I'm not to crazy about due to the lack of interest in the current Kinect, I really don't see the new one being much better. As stated above "If the rumors are true and Microsoft intends to force the Kinect down our throats, it had better bring a perfected product to the table. No exceptions". Lastly, the idea of used games ceasing to exist in the world of Microsoft... I'm somewhat impartial because of my personal lust for a larger income and respect for developers having known a few, but on the other hand, as a Gamer and not merely a citizen of today's society, that's a negative. I've had many instances where a used game price is just what I needed to get my fix for that title I couldn't bring myself to spend $60 on originally. You could argue to just wait out the price of games as they age on the shelves, but the wait is to long to bare for any anxious Gamer.

But lets be realistic ladies and gentleman, these are simply RUMORS. So lets wait until...August? I'm sure by then we'll have most if not all the details we're dying to find out.
