Considering the recent movement of having the race of voice actors match the race of the character they're portraying, it is imperative that Johnson step down from his role of Superman's dog and let an actual dog do the job instead.

Looks fantastic! It's always great to see these older games in a "new light", so to say. ;)

Can't help but wonder if Nintendo will try to slap this port with a C&D order, like they do to so many other fan-made projects.

@chrishayner, I hate to nitpick over a small detail, but the tagline under the article title on this page reads "TLC will not include WWE's first AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor match." You should omit the word "not".

People all over the internet are salivating over the Styles/Balor match. This much interest in a match, generated within a day's span, far outweighs the fans' palpable apathy surrounding the months-long feud between Wyatt and Balor.

Who would have that that a potential mumps/meningitis outbreak would actually save a PPV instead of ruin it? WWE Creative could learn a lesson from this: Not every match needs a boring elongated story to build anticipation, especially when said story is segmented into 5-minute-long promos spread across a 3-month period. Just put two good quality wrestlers against each other and let the match itself tell the story.

EA Vancouver is heading up the development of this new Star Wars game now. Considering that EA Vancouver is also responsible for all of the EA Sports games (NHL, FIFA, Madden, Need For Speed, etc.), they're probably going to turn this into some crummy Star Wars-themed multiplayer sports game.

There are 1,038 words in this article, not including the subheaders for each section and the scattered boxed quotes.
The fourth paragraph, which is basically a paraphrase of the quote in the "strangely topical" subsection, is 45 words.
The "strangely topical" subsection itself is only made up of 55 words.

Doing the math, that means the topic title only relates to 10.3% of the entire article.

Good job Eddie, you keep showcasing your mastery as a click-baiter, especially since you have to rely on a headline that invokes a sensitive modern-day political topic as a means to garner clicks for a majorly-apolitical article that is focused on the creative/technical processes behind the game's creation. You should leave GameSpot and become a real journalist, because you certainly have the knack for it.

I love how GameSpot leaves out the part after her "Just like a normal female character" statement. She's actually for the better representation of male characters in video games as well.

To quote from the Videogamer link given in the above article:

Johnson, who won a BAFTA for her role as Ellie in last year's The Last of Us, doesn't believe that it's only females who should be better represented in games either, but males too.

"And not just females," she continued. "On a broader spectrum, also male characters. Have a good story, have real characters and... I think the audience is changing so hopefully that'll change a little bit more."

So, her views are not quite as one-sided as this GameSpot article makes it out to be. While she may feel that women are underrepresented in the cast of video game characters, she is also for the better overall representation of everyone, male or female. This article is just more pot-stirring, courtesy of GameSpot journalists. Check the Videogamer link out for yourselves.
