The PS2 Trilogy Remastered is the least i'm expecting.

Excellent set of games. Assassins Creed pretty much ruined any chance of us getting a brand new game on it sadly.

Is anyone surprised?

The violence alone was going to make it a hardsell for the region.

Now include LGBTQ+ stuff and there is no way that would ever fly in the region.

You'd have to pay me to play this game.

Nope. I tend to buy, play and then resell. Then i sell my console with games and controllers to fund my next console (PS5)

I rarely replay games so keeping it and doing nothing with it doesn't make sense for me.

Great for the developers but was never a fan of these soul type games.

Brutal difficulty and i simply am not willing to put in the time to master the skills with limited time these days.

If I was Rockstar:

1. Release "GTA 5 Remastered" for PS5 with single player dlc and GTA online.

You make the traditionalists happy with the single player and you keep milking the cash cow that is GTA online.

@Netret0120: Did it? Wow I guess nobody noticed since UC4 sold great and won tons of awards. What has she done since she left?

Lol thanks for emphasizing my point. Amy Hennig was involved in UC4 before leaving during the development and made such a contribution they made a whole tribute to her at the end of the game.

Its not about what she has done since she has left, she made the Uncharted Series what it was. Naughty Dog wouldn't be what it is today without her.

The Last of Us 2 is the first fully fledged game Naughty Dog will have released since Uncharted 4 (The Lost Legacy was DLC turned into a $40 game). 70% of the staff that worked on Uncharted 4 are no longer with the company.

Gameplay & Graphics Wise, it looks fantastic.

Plot-Wise, its going to ruin everything fans loved of the first.

All AFTER Amy Hennig has left.

IGN interview state that Straley and Druckmann "forced her out" and the problem is that Druckmann doesn't respect women. He doesn't believe they belong in leadership positions.

But however, Amy Hennig did write the story for Soul Reaver where... Kain from the first game (Blood Omen) become the antagonist. Proof that she can pull off this kind of stuff without it being a complete Hack.

There's one thing I'll say about Uncharted 4. If you've noticed, it wasn't until Uncharted 4 that we actually got extensive character work done with Nathan. We got to see how he functions when not on adventures. He complains about the craziness in gameplay of all his games, but in Uncharted 4, it's depicted as a rush he seems to be addicted to. Amy Hennig while a great director, never reached the success of Neil or Bruce. EA then robbed her of the chance to change that narrative. But yes, you are right, Amy Hennig would've never let this happen to TLOU2.

She went to Skydance Media in late 2019. I believe she wants to continue pursuing narrative driven games with top shelf CGI and effects.

Not sure how to reply directly beneath a quote so i will number it out instead:

1. The irony LOL. A man kicked out a woman yet preaches about feminism and LGTBQ rights? Hypocrisy at its finest.

Ellie was gay in the first game but it was never the main plot point in the game because it didn't need to be. Ellie as a character was fleshed out that if you asked people what's the first thing you think of when you think of Ellie, I doubt the fact she is gay comes up.

Remember Bill? (Mechanic guy) It was heavily implied he was gay too but that wasn't key to his character.

Based on the leaks, Naughty Dog seem to have been more interested in making people gay/lesbian first and then build an actual character later. If a person's sexual orientation is the first thing you think of when you build a character, you have failed to build a compelling character.

When I saw Anita Sarkeesian involved in the game and that 70% of the staff that worked on Uncharted 4 were gone for this game along with the leaks, I sadly knew the leaks were true.

2. Uncharted 4 definitely had the most character development of any of the Uncharted games and I really liked the plot. I found myself worried that Elena & Drake might actually divorce due to his addiction to the thrill of chasing the treasures. If Druckmann was involved in the character development there, kudos to him.

3. When I saw Amy Hennig had left Naughty Dog abruptly during development, I thought maybe it was a dispute over pay or something but now after watching the video I put in the link above, it seems she saw the direction Naughty Dog was going down and was kicked out by Druckmann.

4. I personally enjoy narrative driven games with high production values a lot so if she is involved in them, i shall pay attention to her. As a 26 year old, I don't have quite as much time to game as I did when younger so games that hit that sweet 10-20 hour length is excellent for me. Detroit Become Human, Until Dawn, Uncharted Series, The Last Of Us 1 etc.

Last point. The Last of Us 2 is likely going to sell incredibly well regardless, however the only way companies listen to us is through our wallets. Once reviews for the game come out and my friends and i check to see if the leaks were actually true, we will buy the game used to speak with our wallets. Doubt the few of us alone doing this will do anything but maybe others will do something similar because there is no point complaining about the forced agenda but then go buy this brand new Day 1 and they get your $60 lol. Once they have your money, they won't care.

We shall see how things go come June.

Don't forget Bruce Straley, too.

No coincidence that 70% of the staff that worked on Uncharted 4 decided to leave the company during or after it was completed.

It clearly shows with the direction The Last of Us Part 2 went down.
