... It's been a while since the lock-in had started. Food is scarce.People are getting violent and the moderators can't even restore order. Ever since the lock-in had started, chaos ensued...

As I see it, it seems that somebody has to die for to feed the GameSpot community with their tender flesh... or, instead, a large number of members would have to risk loging out. God knows what's out-there when you're not signed in as a member. Chances are, odds for survival "out-there" are even less.

... You can connect your PS3 to a laptop. But it depends what you mean by "connect."

If you mean to run your PC on the TV screen, then there are other (much easier) ways to do that without the PS3. It is also possible to run movies and music, that are on your PC, on your ps3. Just download PS3 Media Server and run it. Running hi-res video will be an issue if you're on a wireless connection. Everything else works. :)
