With Project Natal it would seem that anything is possible. The highlight for me I think it that there are finally enough games out there (good ones) for me to get a PS3. :D

Definitely get one. I think the 360 is awesome. It's gonna have some staying power for sure, especially if the next gen's price tag is high. There are just way too many awesome games.

The sniper rifle in Gears of War 2. I love blowing locust heads off one by one while my husband screams "OH MY GOD THAT WAS BRUTAL" while nearly dropping his controller. It's fun to blow the head off a guy he's still aiming at too. Warms my heart a little :D.

The game is without a doubt worth buying, it's fantastic. Don't worry about only have 4 campaigns. Expert mode never gets dull due to the awesome AI. And, you can play the No Mercy campaigns 1,000,000 times and each individual time will be different because it measures your stress level and the game changes to accommodate that. The multi-player is ridiculously awesome as well. The game is definitely more fun playing with friends who know how to handle the special infected and who know the campaigns and the good spots in them. It's not a big deal if none of your friends play it though. I played versus mode alone or with my husband until our friends were eventually convinced that the game was worth getting. Now we can't get them to stop talking about it.

Personally I'd like a little more realism in games. I loved Mirror's Edge. But I hated little things like accidentally walking (not running) off of a ledge, when a real person would never do something like that, for example. Depending on the game too much would be a bad thing. I wouldn't want a game to stress me out. Should there be some 100% realistic games on the market? Absolutely, I'd give it a shot. I love the sense of accomplishment that comes from completing those tough achievements and it would do the same thing for me.

That it's worth buying the 360 for? Is there any 1 game which is a good enough reason to buy an Xbox360?

Murj
If I am going to spend a few hundred dollars on a console I am going to do it to play several games, and you should too. That being said the 360 is awesome.

I just purchased GoW2 through gamefly after loving it too much to send it back. It's one of the most beautiful games I have ever played (thank you Sony Bravia) and one of the most fun as well. About finding where to go: it'd ruin the game for me if I were told exactly where I needed to go. You're supposed to be finding your own way through using tactics and keeping yourself alive, not strolling through like a tourist with a map or guide. It's an important part of the experience. If you do get lost, just press the left bumper, that's exactly what it's there for. I'm so good at active reloads I really don't even think about that :D But again, tactics are an important part of the game. Regarding collectibles, I only have 24/41 myself, but I enjoy looking for them. Having them be easy to find kind of defeats the purpose of the achievement and the sense of accomplishment that will come with it. Not all of us turn to the internet when we are stuck with a game. On the subject of being susceptible to one hit kills and explosions, why the heck do you want to take the realism out of the game? I agree that it's frustrating to get downed and already know you will not be revived due to where you are, but working through that and learning to make use of the cover around you or stay on the move is invaluable. Get yourself playing on hardcore. It's more fun.

I am usually a pretty nice person, but I have my a-hole moments. There are also some people that it's just too easy/fun to be mean to. There's this one girl at work that I guess you could say I'm blackmailing, but she told me too much, she did it to herself.

I work in a hotel at the front desk, where I'm paid to be nice. However you wouldn't believe the amount of people who want you to pull off the impossible for them or risk your own job just to make them happy without a second thought. It's amazing, but I've noticed that the less serviced-oriented and more straightforward (but not rude) I am, the easier it is to do and keep my job. It's a shame that life is easier when you are a total **** to people. Outside of work? I am nice, but I'm not exactly a social butterfly since my job has taught me to hate people.

Xbox 360 definitely, but if the selection of good games gets a little better and they drop the cost a little, then I'll be getting a PS3 for sure. Right now though, I'm not going to pay the sticker price just to have a blu-ray player I won't be making use of. And who's going to top Xbox Live? Not Sony.
