I've been debating finally putting the money down for a build and looking around over the past hours I've decided I believe it is time to just go ahead and buy. I haven't followed what is the best way to go for builds as much recently but I've looked around a bit and decided I should get some help/opinions before I decide to do anything. I don't need anything external; just the components themselves (no OS, monitor, keyboard/mouse, etc.) I also have an Antec 900 which was given to me so hopefully that's one less thing to worry about.

I'm aiming for about 900-1000$. A little more wouldn't kill me, a little less would be nice also.

I'm thinking of trying to fit a 4670k for cpu, 770 for gpu, 650-750psu, and so-on. I'm going to look through NewEgg, Amazon, etc. and try to piece together something but was wondering if anyone had some suggestions, ideas, concerns, that may be helpful moving forward.

I appreciate any help.

Random question, are there any multiplayer games with bots that don't have noticeable names.  For example, Gears of War uses the name of the character when you play against bots "Marcus" for Marcus bots and Black Ops using (3arc) to identify bots.  I need to find a game where I can use computer players that I can either rename or the names shown don't have obvious clues that they are computers.  The basic idea is letting people play bots without being able to tell whether it is a bot or actual person.  Does anyone know of one I may not be thinking of that would fit this criteria?

Appreciate any help you can give.

Well, as my 360 was stolen earlier this month, I was debating between just getting a console cheaper or investing in one of these. Seeing as Gears takes up most of my time spent on my Xbox, I just went ahead and pre-ordered the Gears system. A little extra money but hey, I can swing it, plus the 2 controllers and the 1 game I've been waiting on are all things I will need. Not to mention I've never played a Kinect game that I really enjoyed...

I have the same router. Do you have manual settings for each xbox to connect to the internet on the console itself? (IP, DNS Servers, etc.) That is what you want. If you use automatic your router will automatically assign IPs to both xbox's (via DCHP), and if tries to assign an ip that xbox A is using to connect to xbox B, then A will disconnect. Use manual settings for both, and make sure all the necessary ports are forwarded for XBL itself. Use portforward.com if you want a step by step guide (just select your router model and "Xbox 360 Live").lKoRuPT
I went ahead and did everything manual like you mentioned and it seems to be working well so far, Thanks again for the help

My family is trying to run two Xbox Live accounts on two different systems, one for my little brother's gaming and the other for Netflix/random times I feel like playing it. Recently, we cannot have more than 1 Xbox360 on Live at a time, if you try to connect with the 2nd system it will boot the first off of Live. A few months ago thou it worked fine, we were able to play at the same time, different games or together, without problems.

I cannot figure out what could have possibly changed or what is wrong now, so I'm hoping someone might know how to help. They are both connected wirelessly to a Linksys router, WRT54G. So, hopefully someone can help me figure this out. I'd greatly appreciate it.

While I am also debating on picking the game up, more of a time issue on my end. You can't expect MMO's to bother with trials at/around launch. They have to deal with the hectic flood of gamers and problems. They don't need any more issues from the multitude of trials. They will most likely put one out, problem is you have to wait a while. If I remember correctly, WoW didn't release a trial version for quite a while. I could be wrong. Either way, find a buddy with an account? or else you're stuck risking ur money or waiting months for a trial.

I'm just setting up Netflix on my new Xbox. I've used it on others but for some reason I cannot play anything now. I noticed a few earlier posts mentioning it may be down on this board but I've never ran it on this connection/Xbox so I want to make sure its nota problem on my end. I am running a wireless connection, I can select a movie to watch, once I hit play a movie/tv show, it says I have full 4 bar connection when its determining video quality, but the screen just jumps back to the movie menu instead of playing the movie. I can stream ESPN and play online with zero problems.

I'm just wondering if there really is a problem with Netflix still that could be causing this or is this a problem others have had. Any help is appreciated.

Someone please explain why anyone should be happy with this announcement? YAY they are cutting crap out of the game to make us pay extra for it a week later? YAY instead of making the game as great as it can be and include everything they originally developed, they decide to start cutting out stuff or developing some cheap little add-on map to charge us more even before they release the game? DLC was such a great idea for PC for so many years, and now we are supposed to be happy that companies saw this and decided to milk us with this sort of ****
