I'm trying to play AC III after playing AC Rogue and of course the controls are different. I can't seem to climb. After I jump on to something above, my character just climbs or falls slowly down grabbing as he goes. I hit the left mouse button and the space bar as well as various other keys but nothing seems to do the trick.

That would be alot of work to explain everything you need to know about every different part of a PC. That would mean teaching you everything I have learned over the past 8 years, and still wouldn't be able to cover everything simply because I don't know everything still. What I'm trying to say is that everything, EVERTHING, is important and can be a determining factor when purchasing computer hardware. It just depends on how picky you want to be about certain things. But no, seriously; if you want to learn about the important things to look for then start doing research on a particular part, such as the cpu. You might notice that the CPUs advertised on newegg.com have certain specifications such as L2, and L3 cache. You might not know what that is, so do a google search 'what is L2 cache on a CPU?' and you should find some answers.

I'm using Avast free edition, I wasn't at my computer all afternoon. But when I got back on it just a little bit ago, my network connection was broken, with no apparent reason. I unplugged the cable and plugged it back in, checked my router, and no apparent issues. So I powered down my pc, then rebooted and the problem was fixed. That's about the only unusual thing I have noticed today.

*Edit*: make that one more unusual thing, when I tried to post this post, Gamespot encountered an error like 4 times in a row... page title was "Gamespot - BONK!"
