[QUOTE="XboxStache"]Your name and sig are so ironically hilarious, by the way. I applaud. AMEN!Kinect needs to be optional; and I mean optional. Microsoft claims there's a way of turning it off or disabling it and using your controller to power your console; but that Kinect will be required for games that require it. Sounds like bullshit tbh. Why even include a Kinect if it can be "disabled" or "paused"? (But you still somehow need the Kinect)
That's Strike one.
Always online boils down to Vaporware. Let's not kid ourselves and say that the X1's servers are always going to be around unless they intend on keeping this console active indefinitely. Gamers like myself are still playing my Sega Saturn, SNES and Genesis (all consoles ranging from over 10-20 years), but suppose in the future there's some gamer who wants to play the X1 as a retro collector? He/She couldn't.
That's strike two.
The used game issue is something I somewhat have mixed feelings about. I personally haven't sold a game I've ever owned, but I have let my friends borrow those games. If there's an associated fee or limitation, I just find that to be really stupid. It just seems like a way to increase game sells and strip the used game market down to nothing. Again, a retro gamer's nightmare lol.
I can't quite give that a strike yet.
I hope E3 clears up a lot of things or that if Micrsoft is dumb enough to stick to this draconian way of business, people boycott it until they're forced to make changes. Not only with policies; but Kinect as well. (who needs that POS?)
That's about where I stand with the XboxOne now; and I'm a guy that bought the Original Xbox at launch, the 360 at launch. I've enjoyed XBL for over a decade; but this is BS.
