Not really a traditional FPS, but i'd say TES V: Skyrim. It's native first person set in an open world and you can shoot things with magick and bows. :)

Edit:

Just read OP say 'No Fallouts'...whoops disregard the above then.

Anyway yeah ARMA II is good but to me DayZ is super mint! :)

Can't wait for this title I just read the 7 page preview in Game Informer and yeah to have the kind of pedigree of Naughty Dog (excuse the pun :P) working on such a title is immensely exciting, definitely can't wait for The Last of Us to be released. :)

Yah dude I play mostly the single player campaign too! I'm not terrible with multiplayer although I'm far from decent. Don't know maybe I'm just selling myself short but yeah I enjoy playing the single player campaign and really get into the stories of each character. So much fun! :)

Drinking is fun! ...

Too bad I'm not having any of it; messes with my medication. :)

I just stick to good ol' soda + Water. :) Simpler that way.

If consoles can make it an attractive option like Steam, then maybe but I do prefer physical media.

I agree, get a PS3 man and it doesn't matter if you don't like many games; go through GameSpot's reviews and find the good ones worth playing then you'd be like: "Dang now I know what I've been missing out on." :)

A good challenge can be fun but yeah I can understand the frustration one feels when one is inadequate in succeeding in the challenge. Where I draw the line though is more complex given that a challenge - by definition - should be challenging but sometimes if you fail over and over again without fully comprehending why then I guess that's where I draw the line between a challenge or it being a flaw in development.

Final Fantasy VII; I spent a good part of my pre-teenage years playing this game and I'm proud to say it has shaped me to be the person I am today! :)

Production value and attention to detail in all aspects, such as: gameplay, story, terrain etc.
